I purchased this rifle several months ago and i was very impressed with the realism and reliability that this AEG brought. The ability to use this as a CQ weapon as well engage targets from near standoff ranges is an amazing plus! If you take your time and can use a mil dot (doesn't have to be but best for long shots) scope you can make chosen body hits from outside the range that is displayed in the specs. The power is great and I would choose .25g BB's all the time no matter what the situation. I chose the UTG SD, a laser sight, and the 5th Gen 4x32 Mil Dot to finish out the set. I switch between an assault and mid range scout position and I don;t need to change a thing. I think I would like the ability to use a large type battery but if you think about it then the whole frame would have to be bigger. I like the low-profile ability so the small battery could be a plus for that reason. I got the "Intellect 1600mah 8.4v" and it provides more than enough power on a full charge".......LiPo later maybe. Overall a great platform that will perform at an exceptional level no matter what the situation. 5 stars all the way.
Pros:
size/weight
fps
rpm
motor and response time
all metal = great durability
LiPo ability
Easy to Customize (but you don't need to....Professional Lvl. Already)
Cons:
Bit pricey but if you want a great gun suck it up and save that extra coinage!
Best of Luck!!!

As far as the overall performance of these mags, you can hardly do any better. If you want capacity, then buy a full size mag. I won't bother restating all the information in the description, but they feed flawlessly and are sturdily built to last. No, 85 rounds isn't the best out there, but I believe that the only reason you would be looking at this particular style would be for the historical look or you're looking for a lower profile design for your platform. The few inches you gain with these over a full-size design allows you to really prone out and get your rifle in line with the rest of your body. There's nothing more annoying than trying to make yourself a smaller target and then having to stick your head up to try and take a reasonable shot.....yes you can rotate your gun 90 degrees and shoot sideways...But That's Not The Point! All in all, if you're going for a lower profile, look for a longer range platform (i.e. KWA KM16-SR12 a.k.a. my baby) you can't beat the KA 85's.

- Low Profile....Effective, December 18, 2008 Reviewer: Dan3215 from Booklyn Park, MN
I always had a problem with eye protection getting in the way of using scopes and precision sights. Face masks were too bulky and most glasses always had a problem with fogging-up, yes even the "anti-fog" ones. No matter how they are made if the glasses are below your body temp they will fog some. These work great! They solve both problems and don't hinder your ability to see at long ranges without the assistance of optics. Yes they only cover the eyes and some parts of the side of your head, but personally that's all I need. I use a camouflage head wrap and that provides enough face protection. If you're like me, and only seriously protect eyes and ears, then these are absolutely perfect.
