This gun is one of the most beautifully made airsoft guns I have ever seen right out of the box. This gun has every detail on it perfect. I have only put maybe a thousand rounds through this gun, so this isn't going to be a full in depth review. I figured since no one else put up a review, I would give an out of the box review.
Aesthetics:
Now you could spend all day drooling over how realistic this gun looks. If you take the orange tip off, and put it next to the real steel there is no difference. This gun is full metal, and the wood furniture is gorgeous. Some of the other wood furniture I have had on other guns has not been very good quality, but this wood is amazing. Unfortunately, that being said, I still intend on replacing it. I bought this gun as more of a project gun. I usually do project AK's with D Boys AK's, but I saw that this gun came out. I plan on turning it into a EAA Zastava PAP with some old Soviet dark furniture and having a guy I know make that specific type of stock.
Performance:
Now there isn't much I can say, so I do hope that someone comes out with a review that goes more in depth on its performance. Out of the box though this gun performed very nice. It shot at a surprisingly consistent 376 fps average, give or take a few. One thing I noticed on my gun was there was a rather annoying whining coming out of the motor, but that was easily fixed. This gun had a nice consistent range --- it, and I, was able to hit a man sized target from about 200ft.
Conclusion:
Now I am almost caught in a dilemma, because this gun already looks so beautiful that I don't want to disassemble it to make another gun. However, it would only make the Zastava look even better. This is a great gun out of the box, but for now this is all I can say about it.

This is an amazing gun. KWA did an incredible job on this.
Aesthetics:
This gun is beautiful to look at aesthetically, because this is just about fully licensed and trademarked. They actually got it officially licensed by H&K, and it is the first gun to be so. It has all of the features of the real steel, and all of the trade marks, with the exception that the 4.6x30mm is now a 6mm marking. This is the first gun licensed be H&K and it is so worth it. The overall build of this gun is exceptional. I only felt slight wobble on the front rails and on the stock. Everything is ambidextrous, even the sling hooks. It has flip up sites which can also be removed. It's made completely of metal and a highly durable polymer.
Performance:
While this gun may be small, it still packs a punch with reasonable accuracy. I'm shooting about 350fps over the chronograph for my first few magazines, then it starts to get a little inconsistent. It starts to shoot random highs and lows. It's not too bit of a deal though because you're not trying precision long range shots. This gun has a crazy rate of fire, and you will run out of your 40 round magazine quick. This gun seems to shoot a lot more accurate on semi-auto than it does on fully auto. The hop-up is located right above the flash hider, and is really finicky. It seems like if you don't get it perfect, it doesn't work at all. You can hit around 110 feet with the gun on full auto, but again, this is a PDW so it's not meant to be used for long range anyway.
Conclusion:
This gun is definitely worth it in my mind. It's primary use for me is just as a back-up, rather than a traditional pistol, but by no means am I saying this cannot be used as a primary. This gun just flat out gets it done. It's worth every cent you pay for it.

KWA has recently come out big with their SR series. What they have done is taken your basic M16 and M4, and just removed the carrying handle and sights, and put flip up sights on it so you could put some sort of optic on it without removing anything. I did not buy this gun from Shorty's, because I have had this gun for a while, and they just came out with it. This gun is an absolute beast, and you can upgrade this gun to any format you like, i.e. field gun, designated marksman, support weapon etc... This gun has the ability to be used for just about any situation. Now on to the review.
Aesthetics:
This gun, when I first took it out of the box, has some very nice heft to it. It not the lightest gun, but it's not too incredibly heavy. Now I personally like the fact that they put flip up sights on this gun because it gives it a nice flushed look. This gun is very well made, and there was no play or jiggle anywhere on the gun. The only thing I did not like about the appearance of the gun, was the pistol grip. Now this is a total personal preference, and it is nothing wrong with the gun. I just like the Magpul pistol grip kit better. Anyway, another nice thing, is that this gun also comes with 14mm counter-clockwise threads, so if you want you can put a flash hider, or mock silencer on it. This gun also features a very nice rail system. It is fully numbered, CNC machined, free floating Picatinny rail system. Also, another thing KWA did to this gun, is they used a matte black finish, instead of a glossy black so you won't reflect as much light.
Performance:
This gun is an amazing performer. The consistency of this gun was around 405-415 fps over the chronograph straight out of the box. It also comes with the 2GX gearbox, which is debatably the best gear box shell made to date. KWA also reinforced everything they could internally, and they even gave it a m130 spring. Making this thing shoot harder would only be a stupid a foolish thing to do. Now Shorty doesn't say this, but these new KWA's are LiPo ready. This gun is meant to be used with the KWA 11.1 LiPo battery. With that you can achieve an unheard of 20 rounds per SECOND. They also put in a new c clip for the hop-up giving it greater consistency and air seal. They also made the new 2G bucking which was supposed to be revolutionary, but it didn't give me that feeling. The hop-up was a little finicky at first, but once the gun got broken in, it worked perfectly. This gun also already comes with a 6.05mm barrel. You could put a tight bore barrel in it, but that's just like beating a dead horse. It isn't needed. This gun shoots amazingly accurate, has fantastic consistency over the chronograph, and is already fast and powerful stock.
Conclusion:
You could very well say that this right now is the Machiavelli of airsoft guns. It is Beautiful to look at behind the trigger, but terrifying in front of the barrel. KWA took the M4 and M16 to a whole new level with the SR series. You may say $400 is a bit steep, but KWA deserves every penny for this gun. This gun is worth it, and I would recommend this gun to anyone.

Now to explain my title of this review; I do not like the brand Echo 1, because they do not have very good internals. They put heavy springs in them and then put in poor quality gears and bushings. This gun I gave four stars - I really would have given it 3 and a half but i decided to be nice because it has some potential to be quite the little cannon. What I did with this gun was I put a double drum magazine on it, a bi-pod with a swivel mount, a swept back front grip, and a red dot sight. I use it when I use a sniper rifle and lay it at my side so I can use when it gets a little hot around my area. So now for a review.
Aesthetics:
The first thing I saw that I liked about this gun was that they numbered the RIS. That's what you usually get when buying an aftermarket rail system. The gun's body had some good looking markings on it. Mine are starting to wear off, because it doesn't seem like quality paint was used on it. One thing I didn't like with mine is that the orange tip I found a little difficult to take off. It might have just been mine, but I had to start sanding it, but now it finally doesn't have that blaze orange tip on it. The gun itself, with the parts I put on it, looks really good. I also liked that you can take the very cheesy looking iron sights off. I have to say that Echo 1 actually did a good job with the looks of this gun.
Performance:
Now I will talk about the internals of this gun next, but for now I will talk about how it performed with the internals it already had, and with what I put in it. This gun, out of the box, is very fun to shoot. When I charged it up and put about two thousand rounds through it to break it in, I went to the chronograph to see how hot it was shooting. I was shooting just a bit higher than shorty's stats. I hit around 376 /- a few. It shot at a nice consistency, and shot with a fast rate of fire. Now I have seen a few people talk about its accuracy not being the best because of its short barrel, but you really can't expect it to be as accurate as a tight bore sniper rifle barrel. Sure you can really get a tight bore barrel to get better shot groupings and accuracy, but it might be a tad bit hard with this size of barrel. For what this gun is intended for, the accuracy is perfect. The hop-up works well on it, but you should get an aftermarket bucking for it. With its stock internals it shot dandy for the most part. It kept at a consistent ROF, it had a /- 5 with its FPS, and it hit around 140-150 feet. Now with the internals i put in it, it had a faster ROF, I kept it at about the same FPS, maybe about 10 higher than stock. Lastly though it kept in tighter grouping than the stock internals.
Internal:
Even thought the small review that Shorty's gives, says that the internals are par none, I highly disagree. The gear box was decent, but it was smeared all over with some bad gun grease. The bushings were made out of pot metal. After only putting a few thousand rounds through it, the gears were already worn, and the piston had two teeth broken off. So I put in some Prometheus gears and a Systema piston and piston head, just to name a couple. I also want to see if I can find a Prometheus inner barrel but it probably won't happen. With some decent internals and gun grease, you can have a nice little gun that will last you a while.
Magazine:
I didn't feel like going back and writing this part in so here it is. The magazines it comes with are fairly nice. The 190 round capacity magazine looks really nice on it, and it performs fairly well. It only misfeeds a few times, but I wasn't expecting a top of the line magazine. The high cap one, on the other hand, misfeed quite a few times, and it rattled... a lot. So i went with the not so quiet, electric drum magazine.
Conclusion:
So overall, this is a nice gun. Coming in at 15 inches and only weighing 6.5 pounds, this is a nice cqb gun, or you can set it up to be a cool little turret or side gun, like I use it. I have also put it to a bi-pod on a ledge to grab real quick to be used as a turret, but it all depends on how we set up our playing field. If you buy this gun and if you want it to last, you will have to upgrade it, but other than that, it is a great gun.

Systema is a top of the line brand when it comes to internal modifications. I have had a few cheap plastic buckings break on me, and so this is one of the replacements I bought. Now the only reason I gave it a four and not a five, is that I have not had or used it long enough to give it a full test run. There's not much of a review you can give on a bucking so here's what I have to say. Apparently it hasn't cracked on me yet. It actually has a seal to keep the FPS consistent if you adjust your hop-up. It has also always given me the results I have wanted from adjusting my hop-up according to how the weather was. This is a great replacement bucking if yours breaks.

Maybe I was expecting something amazing from this, but nevertheless, it fell short of what I thought it could do. Now I didn't buy this from here, I bought it from ... Now I'm not going to get all technical or give you some weird stats that you have no idea what they mean, because honestly I don't know a thing about how this thing works.
Now for my review/ This monocular works, and you can see in the night, but it doesn't go very far. I can see clearly for about 75 feet, or 35 yards, and then I just see green blurs, which you can't really tell what they are. You really are just better off using your eyes, because at the range you can see with this monocular, you can just engage someone. Sure you can use it to get someones exact position in the dark, but this isn't much of a spotting scope because you would have to use it like every 30 feet. I really wouldn't suggest anyone buying this. The only good thing about it, is who else can say they have a night vision monocular.

Honestly I was really disappointed with these goggles. I wanted a pair that would be small so i could hug a gun close to look right down a scope, and these worked for that, but they just aren't good. The foam was a little rough on my goggles, and it went all over and went past the edge of the goggles. While they also say they don't fog up, they did a little, but not enough to be a complaint. I just do not like these goggles. I'll stick with the tried and true Arena Industries FlakJak v.2 goggles. They may cost more than these but they have more protection than these and they can withstand a 12g shotgun blast. If you don't believe me look up FlakJak test on google and watch the video.

First off, I bought this only because I'm a big fan of pistols. It's a perk of having money. The pistol I use is an upgraded Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1. This is a great gun to shoot and even to use in a game. This is one of the most all around realistic pistols i have bought to date.
Aesthetics:
This gun has got to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing guns ever. After reading ShortyUSA's review, I couldn't believe how much I had overlooked. I realized that everything was full metal, and that the weight was the same, and that the recoil was amazing on it. What I never saw though, is how much detail they put in it, so (without the orange tip) it looks exactly like the real deal. If you decide to put a flashlight, laser combo on it with pressure switches, it looks AMAZING. Now I don't use the light on it except for showoff, but it looks, feels, and performs like the real gun. Also, the grip is very nice on it. It isn't my favorite, and I'm looking on putting a different on on it. If i can't find a good one I could always try a custom job on one, but the grip is something you get with the tactical model. The magazines are also nice, to where they are full metal, and you can even move the loading nub into place where it will stay whilst loading it.
Performance:
This gun has a gnarly kick. For a GBB it has a pretty hard kick. With that kick also comes that bone chilling sound of a metal on metal recoil. Now shorty's says 350 fps with 2g bb's but I use 28g bb's and I get around 280-300 fps which is perfect for a gas pistol. After all, you're not shooting a rifle here. between 50-100 feet you can get some nice consistent groupings. Occasionally, every few clips, I got one straggler that went wayward, but you could easily hit a man sized target at a hundred feet consistently, shot after shot.
Conclusion:
This is a really great pistol to use as a primary sidearm. Just because it's not the best doesn't mean it can't compete. This can be used as a great sidearm with 2g bb's. If you need a GBB sidearm, then this is the gun for you.

2 out of 4 people found the following review helpful: - Not Worth Your Money, July 10, 2009 Reviewer: twoarmy from Rochester, NY
There really is not much to say about this gun. First, the looks itself should turn people away from this gun. Now from pictures I know you can't truly see how big this gun is, but for a concealable weapon this gun is a bit on the big and bulky side. So in turn I'll try my best to cover what is possible with this gun.
Appearance:
This gun at a quick glance can look pretty cool. It's got the matte black finish and heck, it's metal. That's where the good things about the gun end. Sure it's full metal, but the frame itself is mostly comprised of two solid pieces of metal, and it doesn't feel like quality metal. On the slide, the shell ejection port is one piece with the slide, and it doesn't even look remotely real. You can also clearly see a seam down the middle on the slide, or at least on mine it's terribly visible.
Performance:
Now the performance on this thing makes up a little but for the make of this gun, but not enough to make this gun worth it. Surprisingly, this gun has good accuracy, but only up to a distance. This gun can hit straight on, but once it gets to about 60-75 feet it starts to drop straight down. Its fps is not going to do much either. It only hits to how far you should be shooting it. Its magazine only holds ten rounds, but what are you going to expect from a "compact" pistol.
Conclusion:
If I had wanted, I could have said more about it, but this gun is not worth it. Sure it may be only twelve dollars, and you may be saying you get what you pay for. Well then, don't pay for a piece of junk. This gun is not worth wasting your money on. Overall, just don't get this gun if you really want a spring pistol,or a back-up to your back-up.

I'll explain what I mean with my title. This scope really is meant for a M16 or M4 carrying handle, or else it just has some downfalls.
On a Carrying Handle:
When you put this on a carrying handle, it looks very nice. It does exactly what its supposed to, in being a low profile scope. Honestly, this is more of a field scope, because although it zooms very nicely, it's not a big zoom. It is more just to give a clearer picture of where you are watching. One complaint, and I saw someone else had mentioned this, was I wish it was rubberized. Although, metal scopes are nice, this is a very light scope and almost feels like it could be damaged if dropped at all. On a carrying handle it does what it's supposed to do.
On RIS:
On a RIS system, which they include a mount for, it looks very awkward. It looks like it's a bigger version of the B-2 Red Dot w/ Riser Mount, which is exceptionally better. This just doesn't work on an RIS, because another thing I forgot to mention was, it also has a small FOV (Field of Vision).
The only reason I gave this a four, is because it does what it's supposed to do. It looks very nice and sleek on a carrying handle, and actually is somewhat of a low profile. Don't use this on an RIS though because it just looks stupid.

1 out of 3 people found the following review helpful: - One of the best in my opinion, July 09, 2009 Reviewer: twoarmy from Rochester, NY
First off, Mauser is a great maker to buy from. They made an amazing replica of a kar 98k. So now you know that you can get a good quality gun from a good quality maker. To save from a long review, this is a great sturdy gun, with amazing consistency and shot grouping at a good range. So if you want to read on, here are some of the things about the gun.
Aesthetics:
It reminded me of the UTG m324 because, for the most part, the whole barrel and trigger/firing assembly is all made out of metal, and good quality metal. No pot metal junk in this. The rest of it is made out of ABS plastic, except for a few things. The stock on this thing is really nice. As a sniper it's very nice to have a stock you can customize a little bit for the perfect comfort. It has a nice rubber check rest that can move up and down a little bit, and a comfortable shoulder pad that can also go in and out. Then you have the grip itself which is very nice. It looks almost like a King Arms pistol grip i have on one of my m16's. It allows very nice comfort and stability with its palm rest and integrated finger grooves. It already has an RIS system on the front and top for a scope and bi-pod, both of which come with the gun. I do, however, recommend getting a better bi-pod with a deep swivel action to it, so you have more versatility in the prone position. The scope is nice that comes with it. You could get a better one, but it's not needed. Something you will need though, if you want to be effective and stealthy (that word sounds so childish) is a low rise weaver mount, which is sold on this site also. Overall, this gun is very comfortable to shoot. Now on to the performance.
Performance:
This gun, out of the box, is a great performer. I got 3 and a quarter inch groupings from around 165 feet /-. I wasn't really paying attention at the time, so that is just a guess at the range. It's a smooth shooter and overall not too loud either. If you lube up the bolt, you can cock it easily without even changing your position in the slightest. I personally upgraded some of the internals to bring it up to around 490-510 fps with 2g bb's so that with 28g bb's i could get around 450 fps. The hop-up on this gun is great. It shoots at a consistent fps over the chronograph and kept in nice little groupings. This gun's performance is a sniper's best friend.
Magazine:
I couldn't decide where this should have gone so I made its own category. The magazine is reminiscent of the M324... again. Buying a few magazines is going to be something you're going to want to do. Sure 23 rounds is plenty, but in airsoft you're going to fire quite a few shots. There really isn't such a thing as one shot one kill in airsoft. Again not much on it, just didn't have a spot for it.
Also weight is something I have seen some people complain about. It isn't bad if you really want to snipe. Also, if you think about it... ten pounds ... that's not a lot of weight. Just stay were you are and only move when you need to.
Conclusion:
Personally, I very much like this gun. Out of the box, it's very comfortable to use and doesn't NEED any upgrades. You can choose to upgrade it, but you don't need to. The price on this is marked as it should be. I prefer this gun over the UTG guns any day. On the last note, I'm not saying this is the best sniper rifle on the market. I'm just saying it can be up there. This gun is a great gun to buy though.
And if you really read the whole thing... congrats.

Like Cammannddo said, this gets the job done, but if you have the money you can do better. Modify can make some really good upgrades, but this set really isn't one of them. I put this in my Kalashnikov AK-47, and it worked fine for a decent amount of time. While the air nozzle works perfectly fine, and keeps a nice seal on the piston, the piston chipped, and some of the teeth broke on me. You could get this, and it would work fine. I would just recommend getting a piston with metal teeth on the front. If you have a UTG, Echo 1, or other mid priced AK AEG, then this will get the job done fine.

If you own a full stock AEG, then this is something you absolutely need to buy. Don't let the hefty price tag of $75 be a turn away, because it's worth every cent. This battery lasts a long time, and it will even raise your RPM. With this battery though, a good thing you might want to buy with it is a recharger/discharger so you get a full life out of this battery. Even if you don't get one, it's from INTELLECT, who happens to be a very good battery company, so it will have a good life without a recharger/discharger.

While I do not actually own the JG model of this gun, I own the Tokyo Marui version of it, and this is an exact replica.
Appearance:
This is a nice, sleek looking sniper rifle. While it may not have the fancy look of a Tanaka M700, ARES DSR-1, or the Mauser SR, it does have a very nice, classic M24 look. The stock is made out of ABS plastic and has a matte black finish. The gun also comes with a rubber butt pad, and to make it look even better, I suggest getting a cheek rest that's either MOLLE style, or holds fake rounds. The bolt is nice in that the end of it is flat, rather than a ball, which makes for a nice, smooth, quiet reload. Now one thing that you can get for it is an outer barrel. A company named 2Roy makes a fluted outer barrel, and while it is not necessary, it makes the gun look very nice.
Performance:
Now this gun, out of the box, at 420 fps stated, shoots much faster than the TM, at 290 fps stock, but, it has the same potential for the wide variety of aftermarket upgrades. When it was both upgraded, and non-upgraded, this gun was amazingly smooth, accurate, and had tight groupings. Now if you're serious about using this gun as a sniper rifle though, I recommend upgrading it, and it is going to cost a little bit of money. One of the best things you can do, is to get the Prometheus 430mm precision tight bore inner barrel. Also, PDI makes in my opinion the best internal upgrade kits for this gun. They make a bore-up cylinder set and a bore-up reinforced trigger. You're also going to want to get a higher power spring into it whether it be a Laylax 170, or a Element M145. With the upgrades I have in mine, I'm shooting a consistent 560 ( I do have other spring to lower the fps if ever needed though) fps with a lubrication before use.
Conclusion:
This sniper rifle is hands down one of the best once you upgrade it. It's also a considerably quieter sniper rifle compared to others. I highly suggest getting this gun whether you get this model, the TM version, or the HFC version.

First off, Maximas1992, please do not write senseless reviews on something that you don't even know what you're talking about.
Now I purchased a King Arms SIG556, and one thing I like to do with all of my new guns, is to put quality grease and lubricant in the gear box. Most companies will just put a cheap grease it that will sustain the gun while it is stock. I usually use the G&P grease kit, but I saw that shorty came out with this, so I decided to try it.
The piston grease seems to be working perfectly, being the o-ring on it is still in pristine condition, meaning that I fortunately have not had to use this to fix a leak yet. The gear grease also works great. The grease helps it, so that the gears run more smoothly, create less resistance against each other, and the grease even reduces the revolving noise that gears make.
One thing I overlooked, was I did not realize when I bought this, that there was no bearing lubricant that comes with this. It's not a complaint, it was simply my fault for not paying attention, so if you decide to buy this, which if you have a new gun you really should buy this, just get some bearing lubricant also.
Overall this is a great product. Mad Bull did a great job on their manufacturing and quality of this set.
