5 out of 5- I Have A Story...,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

I was recently in a match with my team against our rivals, Soft Air 6, after the ledendary pyro team. My friend was also on the enemy team. He has this gun and was the teams designated sniper. He is a true marksman, but it doesn't hurt ot have an extremely accurate gun like this. Each of our teams have 6 people. I am my teams Team Leader, and walk slack in matches. Our team uses bases our combat and formations off of tactics used by LRRP Rangers in Veitnam.
We get many of our handsignals and positions and ranks from the military. Our team positions are, Senior RTO, Junior RTO, Senior Scout, Junior Scout, ATL (Assistant Team Leader), and Team leader. (ME!!!) In the following paragrapghs I will show you how this gun is one of the best in its class. So anyway...

My team already had 2 people out (we were playing elimination. One shot your dead). The Junior RTO, and the Senior scout, so we had 4 people remainging. We had succesfully ambushed the other team where I lost my two teammates. We had taken out 3 enemy troopers. The soldiers they had left were, Sniper (my friend), Machine gunner (uses M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon)), and spotter for the sniper. We had set up in a defensive perimeter to wait until the other team walked by so we could ambush them. We were in a tight 360 degree circle. We were in some waist high grass, and our scout did a great job of concealing our position. Then I heard my ATL crawl up and say that we had tangos at 4'o' clock. I told my team to get in line and prepare to ambush them. All of the sudden, out of the quiet, I heard my Senior RTO grunt disturbingly loud. I would later find out that he had taken a sniper shot the the neck and was out. Then all hell broke loose. As my RTO was lying there in agony, the enemy M249 SAW gunner started"a-rat-a-tat-tat-in," and effectively layed down a heavy volume of fire. He had one of those 2400 BB capacity box magazines. There was such a heavy volume of automatic BB fire, that my Senior RTO could not get up to go to the safe zone for people who were eliminated. My team was now pinned down with the odds 3 vs. 3. I tried to gain fire suppierority with my AEG but no luck. It barely slowed them down. An enemy spotter opened up with a TM AEG. I told my now shattered team to make a break for the relative safety of the tree line about 100 feet away. But 100 feet is a long distance when your trying to escape a well prepared ambush. I told my team to run for it while I layed down cover with my AEG. My ATL, one of the more experienced players on the team, crawled 15 feet, then got up and ran. He knew that if he stayed he "died." Then it all ceased. It was deathly silent. I took this oppurtunity to get up and run, but Inoticed my Junior Scout, only a 12 year old, huddling to the ground. the Junior Scout, a cherry, was now thouroughly frightened, and did not want to move. Eventually he got up and ran with me for about five feet before he screamed in pain. About a secind later he was hit in the face. I knew this was not the work of an AEG. This had to be a sniper. As i watched him writhe in agony, the firing picked up. My ATL was now trying to knock out the enemy sniper. We all wanted a little payback after he had taken out two of our comrades. I decided to leave him and run for it. I turned and sprayed the area where I thought my friend, the sniper, to be hiding on full auto. Suddnely was hit. Well actually, my gun was. I would later discover to my horror that he had put a shot up my barrel of the gun as I was turned towards him. He actually put a shot up my Classic Army MP5. SOME PEOPLE!!! Anyway, so I turned aroun but got my chest lit up from the SAW gunner. My ATL was the only one left. Him against 3 others. He managed only to take out the enemy spotter before the SAW got him as well. It was an agonizing defeat, made even worse because we had alowed ourselves to be ambushed while in our perimeter. It turned out that they had crawled up to our location and set up and ambush from about 50 feet away. We hadn't even seen them.

I later learned that, my friend and his sniper rifle were located in a shallow ditch on a hill about 100 feet away. He was wearing a ghillie suit and had foilage native to that area coming from nets he had tied aroung the suit. He looked like a low bush. He told me later at his house that he had been using Phoenix .28's and that they were the most accurate BB ever. I wanted to fire it but he wouldn't let me. It took me three days of begging before he caved in. He let me fire 2 clips. From what I could tell, The gun has amazing range and power and most of all accuracy. I would say that it has extreme accuracy up to 200 feet with the .28 BB. It probably shoots as fast as my gun (315 fps.) It was very sturdy and made no squeks. It was pretty heavy, weighing in at what I would guess to be 7 pounds. It was almost all completely metal and the only part I thought was plastic was the stock. And that is O.K. because most guns have plastic stocks anyway.

If I were to ever have enough money to become a sniper and buy a ghillie suit, sniper rifle, and scopes and mounts and other sniper stuff, I would get this gun as my first choice sniper rifle. If you are a veteran sniper and know how to use and take care of a superb gun, then without a doubt, you should get this gun. But if your are relatively new to airsoft sniping like me, and wnat a sniper rifle, I would slowly build up, and not get this right away. Oh and by the way, miraculously my gun suffered no damage from my friend's idiotic sence of humor. If he was able to put a shot in my barrel from 100 feet away you know this is an accurate weapon. I hope you buy this gun!

4 out of 5- Delta Force Vest,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

This vest is a very good vest. It has pouches for everything i need. Recently, I was thinking of buying a pistol pouch that can hold two pistol clips, and an M-16 pouch that can hold 6 M-16 mags. The only problem is that i was also going to get 2 shotgun clips, and there were no pouches that held them. I was looking for a shotgun pouch when i ran across this. At first i was skeptical but when i saw that it could hold 4-6 M-16 magazines, 3 pistol clips and there was an all duty pouch that is the perfect size for shotgun clips. It also has some extra pouches for holding a twinkie(For when you have to chow down in the field) It has two internal pouches that will hold a folded up map. (note that if you are in a hurry, there will be some diffuculty in prying them out. The vest also has a holster for a pistol across the chest. It will hold any pistol up to a magnum. If that holster isn't for you, then you can swap it out for the included extra duel M-16 pouch. This vest also will fit anyone. There are some adjustable straps that let you customize the size of it. The vest is slightly heavy with all of the gear on you. If you are like me, and are using a pistol, an M-16 A4, and a M87 shotgun with extra mags\clips for everything,(and twinkie :]) then it can get a little hefty. Overall thought, the vest is a must have for a veteran airsofter like myself. If you need a place for extra mags ( and or twinkies) then this vest is for you!!!

Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

Yhis is a great charger. It shows a red light when you need to let it continue charging, and a green light when it is complet. The only problem I have with it, is that after about 10 minutes, my 2100 mah batt is fully charged. (or so it says) When I try to use it it lasts about 5 minutes, then dies. Maybe mine was damaged during shipment or somtihng, but all I can tell you is that it doesn't fully charge. I wou;d still get it tohugh so you don't have to worry about over-chanrging you battery and frying it.

Spare Mag Sig Sauer 552 Spring

3 out of 5- O.K. Mag,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

I own the gun and the mag. The gun is decent, but i can't say the smae for the magazine. The loading tool that comes with it takes getting used to. Plus the BB's usually fly up in your face if you don't load it just right. They have fake bullets inside for the ultimate realism. You can clip them together so you do not need a magazine clamp. My mag just broke today after about a year. I can't figure out what is wrong with it either. The spring is so worn out that I guess it can't push the BB's to the top anymore. They stop about an inch from the top of the gun. I figured "No big deal. I'll buy another." Ya right. I tohught this might happen until I saw the price. 23 bucks for a mag? This is not even a hi-cap. I can't understand why anyone would want to pay more than the price of the average spring pistol to buy a spare magazine that isn't hi-cap. This is the first time Shorty's has let me down price-wise. I usually can expect the lowest price from Shorty's, but this has made me reconsider.... Shorty's has to lower the price on this mag before you should buy it.

5 out of 5- This Gun is Off the Hinges,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

Ok Gallyan's (unfortunately turned to Dick's now) let me try this gun. We set up a paintball target since they didn't have an airsoft target. It might have been 120-130 feet away (I didn't check for sure.)This gun was amazing. It hit the target 9 out of 10 times. The only reason it missed is because the lady helping me get everything set up bumped my arm and I missed. The feel of this gun was amazingly real. Very hefty Just like Shorty's says. I would definately buy this if i were you. It does not feel like a $40 dollar gun, nor preform like one. This gun is worth far more than Shorty's price. (that is what i love about this site. The prices rock!!!) I say buy, buy at will!!!

3 out of 5- Very Nice STORAGE.,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

This is a great bag for storing things, or if you are on a team and travel to cities or states. It can hold most pistols, including my KWC Gold Cup pistol.
The main compartment could not hold a rifle even if you took it apart. It just is not meant to. You could hold something like an UZI I guess. It would be a tight fit thought. It would not be much use on the battlefield. At most it would hamper your movement, make you noisier, and help you hold pistols. It would take you a while to get them out to. Well you can make up your own mind about this one, but i would say don't get this, and just get a Delta Cross Draw Vest. I love that, and I'm sure you would too.

3 out of 5- Whoah Not Good At All,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

Like Skyrocker said above, this gun is being sold at Dick's. I was there earliar today looking at it, and the gu working there saw me and asked if i wanted to test fire it. I said sure. So we went out back and he set up a target 100 feet away. He loaded it all up and handed it over to me. I took aim using the ris as a sight. I fired and!!! The BB flew out of the gun so fast!! Then disaster struck. It curved and kept flying for 20 feet. Landed 20 feet from the target and in a pond about 15 feet to the side of the target. We tried again with the same result. Once more i fired. Same. The guy lubed it. We tried it half an hour later. No change. Maybe it was the one gun, but i think not. If oyur smart you should go with the SOS not tihs.

3 out of 5- Tried it At Dick's along with the M87SA,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

Well the SA was pretty crappy but this gun was slightly better. The guy that works at Dick's let me try this gun. We set up a target 100 feet away and loaded up the gun. I fired. It went straight for 80 feet, then stopped. I tried again. This time it hit the target very close to the bottom. Once more I fired It landed 5 feet from the target. Maybe I was aiming wrong or something but I doubt it. I'm a veteran airsofter and you cant really aim wrong when your a veteran. This is slightly better than the SA. If your deciding between the M87 Series Shotguns, then get the M87 SOS. It is much better.

Once again Shorty's, you have outdone yourselves. No other website has sometihng like this that is Email-able. Have a friend who lives in another state who's birthday is in 3 days? Don't want to pay bulky shipping bills for overweight packages? Then this is just for you. You can buy it, then E-mail it.

Or, aunt and uncles always asking you what you want for your birthday? Well now you can tell them to go to the best airsoft website, www.shortyusa.com, and from the home page order a certificate. It is really easy to locate and you don't have to click throught pages and pages of products. (This is great for grandparents)

Shorty's has once again proved that they really are the best in the airsoft industry.

Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

This is a great mount. I'm using it with my 40mm dot sight. I attached it to my Panther AEG. It is perfect. Despite what others has said, my sight is perfectly level. You just have to know how to put it on correctly. It worked great for me, and I'm sure it will for you as well.

5 out of 5- Trust Me On This,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

If you are an new airsoft player then you should definately get this. When your new, you are usually looking at fps and range. This acsessory will make you gun shoot up to 15 fps faster and at least 10 feet farther. All guns need to be lubricated once in a while, and if you use you guns once a day than you should probably use it 4-5 times a week. My guns used to jam, but not anymore. I started using this and it cleared everything up really fast. I have to admit you'll probably be skeptical with the low price and all, but rtust this is great lube for a great price. It even comes with a lil' tube that sticks on the nozzle so you can spray directly into the barrel of the gun.

Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

Well reflex sights are pretty nice to have if you dont have (or want) a big scope, but they are sort of blocky. I have 3 of these, and they are pretty cheap. There are better reflex sights on the market, you just have to look.

4 out of 5- It Was Pretty Good for a Dot Sight,
Reviewer: chazcarey from New Albany, OH

This is my second dot sight. The first was the Reflex Spec Ops one on this site. This dot sight was far better. It was great with the different colors. It is not entirely accurate; It aims high, so aim your gun lower than the sight. This is deffinatley worth the money. One thing though. If you ar playing in a war with this, you might want to think about someone with a high powered gun hitting you lense. This may result in the lense cracking or shattering. Other than the two things I mentioned, it was a great gun.
