- one of the best WE's yet, March 29, 2007

shooting this gun for the first time was amazing. it had a strong kick to it. it performs just like its WE counterparts. after shooting this pistol it was pretty easy to figure out what i liked and disliked.

~PROS~
-hard kick
-good mag cap
-optional CO2 mag is intersting option
-godd fps
-rails for laser, etc.
-all metal(more durable)
-well placed safety

~CONS~
-grip became slippery at times
-decent chance of getting a 'lemon'
-lacks 'cool quality' of its brother the Dragon

All in all i like this pistol a fair amount. before buying this pistol, consider buying other WE or KWA models. this is a big gun so if you dont like gas hogs t his gun might not be for you. it was a pleasure to shoot. only the KWA G18c and G19 are favored by me over this pistol.

i have to say this gun really impressed me.this gun is the most realistic i have felt and shot.it has a nice kick to it and being full metal its like holding the real thing.the metal hand grips feel awsome but if your palms get sweaty your gonna have a hard time holding it.i almost gave it a four and not a five because of the mag capacity.i personly go for hi cap but this gun backs it up with a extra mag.overall this is a really good gun.i say it looks awsome.

I Love this gun, i mean i LOVE it. i dont even know where to start.

its feels and looks spectacular. it has an AMAZING Trigger Pull, it takes barely any effort to shoot. The accuracy and Power are amazing as well. i was shooting .25's with Extreme Gas, and shattering the BB's against each other because it was that easy to hit the ones already stuck in the target.

The Magazine release is much lower than your standard M1911 which is to help prevent accidental release.

The safety is ambidextrous and small enough to stay out of your way in a holster.

Completely and absolutely The Greatest Handgun i have ever used or layed eyes upon.


you rarely find a single stack M1911 with an accessory rail, and Novak sights, for under 200 dollars. the velocity is just as impressive as the Hi-Capa but i like this gun Much better.

I Could not ask for a better handgun than this.

This is NOT a gun you want to pass up.

We tech makes great guns and this is no exception, nice and rugged like the original. Powerful it is, but has no long range accuracy unless you are a crack shot. great buy, worth it, and impress everyone.

This gun can really come through for you. I suggest don't rapid fire as it freezes the gas inside the valve. I might be wrong, but you know, that's just what I think. I don't think I'm an airsoft expert, I'm just trying to help people. Read the reviews on the government issued one. Oh, and Shorty, you guys said "The 'M1911 Government' is truely a classic...". I think you meant the tactical 1911. Thanks!

This gun is probably the best gas pistol you can buy, for more than one reason. The first is the performance. The gun fires very smoothly, letting you aim and fire much quicker after each shot. The gun is also completely realistic, so that if one were to pick it up, they may mistake it for a real gun. Other than the hefty price, this gun is completely worth buying, whether its for looks or performance.

this is by far the best gas pistol on the market. it shoots like no other. its powerful, accurate, can shoot at long ranges, and it has high velocity. this is a must buy.

once i was playing an airsoft match in the woods, i had the ME 1911 and my MP5-PDW. i was firing at a 2 guys at about 100 feet. i ran out of ammo in the MP5, so i pulled out the 1911 and started shooting. i literaslly hit them both at 100ft away. i couldn't believe that i had just taken 2 guys out with just a pistol.

i guarantee that if you buy this gun you will dominate the field, it is well worth the money.

This is another good gun by we tech. this one has the looks and the power to go with it. its got good accuracy and ok mag capasity, this just has a great feel to it when it blows back its awesome. this is great for a sidearm or maybe a main weapon in like cqb.
