- very good for price , June 15, 2007
KWC is a very good pistol company and the best when it comes down to spring, great fps and accuracy, just like the golden cup or delta. it has a nice weight to it but the looks are sacrificed for the power with no open ejection slide and no slide lock, magizine is good for some, its a speed load and it only has 12, for secondary it is a great gun. for springer wars even as a primary it is good can pull back slide very fast and stings. .2s are the best for this gun

- So many of these, July 11, 2007
As i've said before these guns are good but a copy of the other versions. The first models are better but you wont be wasting your money if you buy these.

- KWC HPA Colt Double Eagle, April 29, 2008
I recently received this weapon from another retailer and I can say that I was moderately happy with it. The range was okay at first glance, as was the power, however, after the first few clips or so, I noticed that the BBs started to curve upwards at around 70 feet, and the imprints/holes in my fence started to decrease/get smaller. In skirmishes I have used it as a side arm, and have managed to actually get a few fast swap hits in CQB situations against larger and more expensive AEGs.
PROS:
1. Great beginner primary/side arm
2. Realistic weight
3. Good power
4. Moderate accuracy
5. Metal outer barrel, which makes it very durable to the clumsy
6. Great quality
7. White dot sights greatly help for those of us who like to run straight up in enemy faces
8. Great Hop up
9. COLT!!!
CONS:
1. Safety breaks/doesn't work, very common in HPAs
2. Moderate accuracy
3. There are better Colts on Shorty and other sites for less or a little extra
In short, this is one of the better HPAs out there, but since they all have almost the same specs and cost the same, looks are one of the only defining factors in choosing which is right for you (My favorites are the Beretta 92FS and the Sig Sauer P226). As mentioned in the Cons section, other colts, the UHC 1911 for UHC lovers and the Smith and Wesson 1911 Ultra Grade for the extra mile, could be better for your money, but hey, KWC has great quality and the Hop up on the HPA series is amazing in my opinion.
PS, please rate.

- NOT Recommended, March 09, 2008
this pistol is not as great as it looks so don't let looks fool you this pistol for one jams 2 much. The magazine on my pistol broke within a week. the saftey stopped working. The clip release button on it is messed up so when i press it the clip doesnt come out as should, i have to press the clip release button and then pull out the clip by hand. only weighing 1 lb the weight isnt real-like at all. its mostly plastic, I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS. (no offense short) IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING GETTING THIS PISTOL PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE 30$ BUCKS TO JUST BLOW.
Please comment, TY

- Pretty Goodish., June 20, 2007
KWC pistols are great, all airsofters should know this by now. However, this Double Eagle isn't anything special. In my opinion the hop-up was a little crazy, because I prefer my hop-up to keep the bb going straight, not straight up! So basically if you love the Double Eagle Design you may want to get this one. Otherwise, I highly recommend the KWC Delta Gold Cup.

- Best spring pistols, June 15, 2007
KWC makes the best spring pistols. With metal external parts, a high power golden spring, precision brass inner barrel, and the new BAXS hop up system all for $30, why not buy it?

- Another Addition to the Colt Collection, October 31, 2007
Throughout all my years in airsoft I have always been a fan of the Colts. They are easily the most accurate spring guns made. You can hit a torso sized target from 150 feet away. They are not the most powerful guns but who needs power when you have awesome range. One thing that people need to understand is that you don't need to leave a welt that lasts for a week to get someone out. All you have to do is shoot them and that's it. This gun just simply gets the job done. It's magazine size is small but most of the shots you take with this gun will mostly be hits. I hope my review helped!

- Very Good, Just KWC's Are All the Same., January 14, 2008
First off, here is what you need to know about KWC. Listen closely, every single pistol KWC has ever made (besides the .50 Desert Eagle) is exactly the same, just a different type of gun. KKC is probalbly the most reliable brand of spring pistols you can buy. They are rough, tough, and have at least some metal on it. This gun is beast though. Its a Double Eagle by Colt, which is basically a Colt 1911, that has a Beretta trigger guard. All in all this is a very rugged spring pistol.
Pros: Good FPS (for a pistol).
Good Range.
Some Metal.
Cons: All KWC's (except Desert Eagle) are the same.
All in all, very good gun, a must buy, except if you already have a KWC pistol.

- not bad., November 09, 2008
this gun isn't bad the only problem is that when you first buy it the gun is really hard to cock. That is the main problem with this gun that I noticed
