- Whoa.., September 14, 2007
I was at shortys a few days ago and saw this gun. They had the sample UTG sent them and the guy was shooting it out back. He was hitting this metal plate that was only about 2 feet wide every time and it was like 160 feet away. It was hitting hard too! It looks totally badass and this thig is freaking heavy too!! I couldn't shoot it because they said their insurance wouldn't allow it in case I got hurt (whatever) but they let me hold it and were telling me all about it. They say that UTG is also working on a collapsible stock version as well as a commando version with a shorter barrel too. The R.A.S. system on this gun is really cool too because instead of having the standard round holes it has longer oval holes which I think looks a lot meaner and it even has the numbered slots just like a real one. Well, I guess really that is because it is made for a real gun (duh). I was disappointed that it costs 300 bucks but once I held it and saw what it could do I could see why. Trust me it's worth it!!

- UTG M4 RAS v.s. Classic Army M4 S.P.C., September 18, 2007
Not only does this gun shoot reliably better than a Classic Army, it is much less money and comes with way more extras. This gun is basically a CA M4 S.P.C. It is identical in design to the CA version except better. UTG finally stepped it up a notch from mid grade and blew the standing high grade guns clear out of the water.
I have always been a big fan of UTG. They have never been very comparible to a Classic Army, (although the M14 comes close) but none the less they are good guns. My first gun was their MP5. I bought that gun when it first came out a couple years ago and it still fires at 100%. I also own the M14, the AK-74, the MK-96, the MK-23, and the S.O.S. shotgun. None of them have broken or died out. For that i love them. I can't stand most of the poor quality mid grade guns. CYMA, JG, Echo 1, and others.
My friend got me into airsoft a few years ago and recently we strted a team together. He has a CA M4 S.P.C. and a CA AUG A2 (BIG fan of CA, also has a TM AK and an ICS MP5). I told him i bought the new UTG M4 that had been in progress since the MP5 came out and he nearly cried when he saw it shoot. The gearbox is very smooth and operates very quietly unlike the Echo 1 M16/M4's that sound like the gearbox is going to jump out at you. (VERY displeased with my Echo 1 M16 DMR) Back to the gun. The entire gun is very sturdy and the barrel DOES NOT have that super annoying wobble! (Echo 1 SUCKS!)
Now to the performance. So my friend wanted to compare the performance of our M4's. The UTG smokes the CA in everything but about an inch accuracy past 100 feet, to make a long story short. Oh and use .25g's!
UTG M4 RAS :
-full metal
-individual serial numbers
-powerful motor. standard with an m110 spring and still producing 860 rpm
-360 fps out of the box
-smooth gearbox, no stress on the internals(Echo 1 SUCKS!)
-highly upgradable
-carry handle is replaced with match grade rear sight (way cooler)
-tri rail barrel mount
-UTG super duty foregrip
-12 RUBBER rail covers
-INCLIDES BATTERY AND CHARGER!
-all for $300.00
Classic Army M4 SPC
-full metal
-individual serial numbers
-reliable internals
-highly upgradable
-320 fps
-800 rpm
(an m110 spring would drop the rpm to around 750-770)
-includes.... nothing....
-all this for.... $380.00....
Now, not to insult Classic Army, the AEG legend, but which would you choose? Classic Army, TM, ICS, G&G, etc.., will all have to come out with some really attractive new guns or else i can't see them selling many M4 SPC's when the statistics and prices are where they're at. Plus i bet you my house that Echo 1 is going to compete with this gun. Watch and see.
Recomended Items to make the gun even more amazing:
-363mm Mad Bull Black Python tight bore inner barrel
-Bravo integrated silencer (bad ass)
-Battery upgrade> 9.6v 4200 mah
-UTG tactical laser sight
-TPG ACOG red dot sight
-you could throw an m120 in there but kinda not needed
-spare mags or a STAR c mag (i purchased one with my Echo 1 M16 Dmr, thought it was a waste of money since i was stuck with a shitty Echo 1 gun to use it in but turns out i've found a use for it! =)
For all you veterans out there, thanks for reading and i hope you can consider this review.
Sorry for the long review.
I Hope This Helped!!!

- Extremely good buy. I got mine today, September 13, 2007
This is a very nice AEG. It weighs about 8 pounds, the fps is around 350-360. The magazine capacity (300) is another plus for this beautiful M4. It may be surprising to see that UTG has gona above its usual mid level AEGs and up it to something that could compete with Classic Army. I used this in a war today and I have to tell you, I was very impressed. The accuracy and range was a bit of a surprise.
When the round first started I had this and one of my many Beretta M9's. I turned around a corner and there were 4 guys running. I pulled off 5 shots, which took out 2 of them. One of the guys shoots at me with this little silver gun, it may be the limited edition one on here, but I shoot him 3 times. The remaining guy pulls out a gas powered Colt .45, pulls the hammer back with his thumb, aims at me, and shoots me in the face. I started to retreat because he got 2 other guys to tag along with him so they could hunt me down. I was sitting behind a fallen tree, and I could hear tree branches being crushed on the ground. I looked up and could see them about 200 feet or a little less away. I aim through the sights and pump out 6 bullets. One of their guys goes down. The other amature starts firing at me blindly with an electric AK-47. I shoot 2 times and hit him in the chest and the head. But my moment was ruined when the kid with the Colt .45, off in the distance, pulls the pistol out of his jacket, pulls the hammer back again and fires. Again, the bb strikes me in the face. I was out. (now as far as the kid with the Colt .45, I am not making this up. He let me try the gun after the round, and it is extremely accurate. I plan on buying one soon)
Over all, this is an outstanding gun and I recommend you buy it GREATLY
P.S.-please read and rate my reviews. you may find them usefull

- †UTG Full Metal M4 Tactical RAS AEG Airsoft Rifle†, September 19, 2007
Introduction,
Okay im going to try and not make this review very long. My best friend got this gun and asked if I wanted to come over and check it out. I was like yeah sure whatever. so got there and he had it fully charged and everything he held it out for me and I took it, I was thinking it was gonna be mostly plastic and took it one handed, man was I wrong, the thing was like a 10 pound hunk of metal.
Performance in FPS,
We took the gun out to shoot and test out.
We cronode lol dont know how to spell it. but we cronode it to go at a consistant 356 fps, "feet per second." About every 10 to 12 shots it would boost and go up to 371 fps. Pretty good for a AEG "Automatic Electric Gun."
Performance in Accuracy,
Okay The accuracy in this gun im just going to come straight forward and say it. It's FRIKEN UNBELIEVABLE, me and my friend could cosistantly hit a soda can from 160 feet, man UTG did a D4NG good job there.
Parts and metal content,
So the whole entire gun is metal, the barrel, the stock, the body, the trigger, the trigger guard, ect. ect. ect. every thing. Execpt the safety/fire switch, no big deal right. However because of plastic having to slide on metal it is rather hard to turn for smaller people.
Battery Run Time,
Okay the only problem with this rifle is that the gun uses battery up "TWO" times faster then it should. so will have to suggest your getting a bigger battery such as the 9.6v 4200mah NiMH Custom Battery Pack. Sorry for those of you who are low on cash but want this gun.
ROF/ Rate OF Fire,
Another thing that is annoying this gun packs about 10 Rounds out in half a second. So it chews through BBs and clips like jaws chews through flesh. So take my advise "GET AT LEAST TWO MORE CLIPS."
Well that pretty much it hope this review helps.

- UTGs best, September 16, 2007
UTGs first full metal AEG and its amazing, this gun can compete with any classic army or ics AEG and youll no longer have to be ashamed of the name UTG, at around 360fps this thing will shut up anyone that bad mouths it.
Its fully compatible with any accessories, magazines, and internal upgrades youd buy for a classic army or tokyo marui so you can upgrade it just as much as them. The RIS foregrip is a very versatile feature and allows for the addition of flashlights, lasers, foregrips, bipods, and grenade launchers.
Its very accurate, able to hit a chest size target at roughly over 150ft, 0.23g bbs would probably work best if not then use 0.25g, it lowers the fps a bit but the accuracy and impact will be greater.
All around UTG has outdone themselves with this gun. I used to think the UTG AK74 was their best, but id have to say this is now, other than the fact that the AK74 has bigger magazines, but since the UTG M4 is compatible with other brands, you can get a 5000 round magazine for it!!! This would put your gun in the support weapon category and youd be able to lay down some serious suppressive fire that will keep your opponents down for quite a long time.

- HOLY COW!!!!, September 15, 2007
This gun is soo cool! It looks like UTG is finially stepping up its game to match all the CA, and Tm guns. They might not be there yet because I still don't really know how good it is it might break in a few months you never know all I know is that it is one of the best stock guns out there. The gearbox is compatable to Toyko Marui so that might be the best part- you can upgrade it to supper coolness and its only $300 stock! Here's a rundown of all the cool things
RPM: 860 7/10 at least its not 600
FPS: 360 10/10 hey how could you get it better from a stock gun $300
Range: 150ft 10/10 that is great from a UTG stock auto rifle almost like a sniper
Weight: 7.5lbs 7/10 just an opinion but I don't like the weight, too heavy
Length: 35.25in. 9/10 hey it can house a large battery and still be shoulered by a 10 year old
Battery type: large 10/10 awesome!! all I can say!
Looks: stunning 10/10 have you seen a M4 like this?!?!
OVERALL: 8.5/10!!
I would have to say that you should get this gun if you are confident with UTG otherwise save up for a CA or TM which is only 30 bucks away

- AWESOME GUN!!!!!!, September 27, 2007
Some of the parts on this rifle are parts they use on real firearms!!! This gun has a good Fps 360 fPS which is good for an electric. At 860 RPM this gun really packs a punch and a big one!!.The gearbox can be upgraded with Tokyo Marui compatible parts. This gun has 4 sided rails which will make it compatible with a flashlight, laser, red dot sight, and scope. With an adjustable hop up system this gun can hit a target at 150 feet. This gun comes with 300 round mag which in my opinion is not enough considering the RPM unless, you use semi auto alot. This gun is also compatible with the Bravo 1 mock silencer which in my opinion does nothing but it'll make your gun look a heck of a lot cooler. I personally have this gun and if any future buyers are reading this review I would either buy a secondary or a more powerful replacement battery. Because when your on full auto this battery can die pretty fast.
OVERALL
PROS:
Good FPs
RPM
Upgradable internals
compatible with scopes and much more.
good range
is very durable
LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
CONS:
NONE!!!!!

- M4, September 24, 2007
This is an amazing piece of equipment. Not only is the FPS there but the realism is uncany. This gun may be heavy but it just adds to its own greatness as an M4. This gun may also cost a good amount but i find guns that are more expensive and have more metal on them last longer, this gun has both. In my experience, guns with mostly or all metal parts are better investments such as this M4. I once bought an AK-74M that was mostly metal and it still works top notch since the day i bought it a year and a half ago. So if youre looking for an American style weapon and you dont want to buy multiple guns do to breakage, then this is not only a good choice but more than likely the perfect choice. If the high price isn't your deal then check out the JG or Echo models, they give you a good "BANG" for your buck.

- great rifle, September 13, 2007
compared to my KWA G36, this rifle does not quite have the fps, or rof. but the accuracy is phenomenal. by far the greatest thing about this rifle is that the quality, build and sturdines of this rifle in my opinion are on par with ics and ca, not even to metion tm(a joke) so with the solid manufacturing and great out-of-box performance, i would recommend this rifle...

- WOW, September 13, 2007
GREAT!!
This will easily take on any classic army or high end AEG. This is the best UTG gun i have seen to date. It feels like a real gun. And it looks like a real gun. Unfortunately it doesn't shoot like the real gun, but it will outdo a stock classic army. It also costs a lot less than the real gun. It is upgradeable and made in the US. It also can hold a massive battery. If you are getting a high end AEG get this gun.
