it really guzzles the gas and some people just dont want to mess around with buying a can of gas every other week. Although i do love gas blowbacks and the Deagle is very cool looking and fun to shoot. I am just wondering how long the plastic will hold up. I mean if u have it for a year and put 5000 rounds through it im sure the plastic is not going to hold up for a "crisp recoil"

- WOW..., April 24, 2008
The KWC desert Eagle is one of he stronger, heavier and life like gas sidearms. Truth be told, my brother uses his Deagle as a primary because it's so strong. I've had this pistol for 4 months now and hasn't let me down when my primary weapon went out. This pistol's main feature is it's intimidation. The deagle's size is ridiculous and what i like about it is that it's blow back feature scares the s**t out of kids.
Pros.
300 fps (stronger and more effecient with propane, trust me)
scares the living daylights out of everyone-blow back
extremely life like
Cons
not gas efficient(that's why i suggest to invest in a propane adapter)
large for most holsters(i got mine to fit but i had to cut up the holster a little)
hope i helped

- Nice, July 11, 2008
this gun is pretty cool...it looks great and fires hard and accurate. it's mostly plastic with some metal parts but it's solid and feels good in the hand, this thing is pretty heavy weighing in at over 2 pounds. it's authentic looking and feeling and has the markings of the imi on the grip. it also features blow back for a more authentic style of shooting. a nice feature is the adjustable hop up so you can choose how much spin to put on the bb in certain conditions and with certain types of ammo, this thing fires .25g bbs nicely and gets great accuracy! well worth the price!

- D. eagle, July 08, 2008
Well as you all know that the Desert Eagle is one of the coolest looking hand guns on the face of this green earth. While it eats up gas like a mother, it's so SWEET!! I first noticed how sturdy it felt when i held it. It's got a real nice kick to it that not all of the blow backs have. for the most part it shot straight but don't use anything lighter than .20g because they go everywhere (it also can sometimes jam the gun). Hope I helped

- gas version of their ultra grade springer, July 18, 2008
basically the same as the .50 ultra grade springer made by kwc... which is insanely solid and would make an amazing gbb. don't complain about the slide being plastic, as it would cost over 200 with a metal slide... the slide is thick enough. can be fully disassembled and is fun to do so. grip is removable, along with many other parts, so it's easy to paint if you're into that.

- YES YES YES!!!!, February 15, 2008
This is an awesome gun! I love the way it feels in your hands as you pull the trigger. It has a nice recoil action to it that makes it very realistic. It's a very nice looking 10 inch gun. The only negative is that it eats gas likes nothing, but hey, ITS A GAS BLOW BACK DEAGLE!!!!! BUY IT

- OH BABY!!!, March 08, 2008
PERFECT for pistol wars! This gun is a tank and is incredibly sturdy for being made mostly of ABS plastic becauase it weighs alot. The magazine and trigger and safety switch are metal so it is just as good as a full metal, only the important parts of a pistol are metal on this gun. This gun shoots incredibly accurate and nice FPS (300). ONly down side is that this guzzles gas but its a DEAGLE, what do you expect :P?

- GREAT, July 17, 2008
this is a really cool gun. i bought this on a different site (sorry shortys) and i'm really impressed. only a couple parts are metal, when i bought this i was told "it's all metal" which was what i was looking for. IT'S NOT, just a couple of smaller parts (good reason to buy from shorty's, you know what you're getting).
anyways i haven't had a problem yet. for a plastic gas gun it really is well made. this is tough plastic unlike some other crappy guns. nice blow back action, great power.
two things though. and i don't know if it's just the gun i got or if they're all like this, but first i have a lot of trouble filling the mag with gas, it leaks all over. once it's in the gun it's fine, but good luck filling it. and second: the red tip looks like someone superglued it on. it's crooked and has glue all over it. it doesn't affect the performance but looks like crap.
over all: i like it and would buy it again
