- Great Adapter!, April 14, 2008
Let me say first, unlike almost every other review, I actually purchased this adapter for my HFC M80 Combat Commander NBB (which is a great gun for the price!)
First off, it is very cheap. The plastic version was $2 more, and this is made of aluminum.
If you're thinking at ALL about getting the Mad Bull one... stop. And think. The Mad Bull adapter is made out of steel and aluminum. This one is just aluminum. Is the steel part of the adapter really worth $10? I don't think so.
So, if you need a propane adapter, don't EVER get the plastic one, or the Mad Bull adapter. This adapter is definitely worth every cent you pay for it, so... what are you waiting for?
For anyone out there who has the plastic... I advise you to buy this adapter and keep the plastic as backup. Much higher quality...
Please rate my review, and thank you all for reading!

- Awesome adapter , April 19, 2008
This thing is awesome. All aluminum and a brass valve this thing seals better than the other ones, and is cheaper than the mad bull adapter. Propane is a lot cheaper than green gas as well as easier to find than green gas, and adds fps.

- A Necessity..., December 04, 2008
This adapter is an absolute must. With the price of propane so low and the price of green gas so high, there really isn't any reason not to buy this. It fits on common propane cylinders perfectly and doesn't leak or anything like that. I bought it and tried it on a can of propane that was laying around my house and i was impressed. It has a perfect seal, it threads on great, and is made of durable lightweight materials so it can handle the pressure but won't be a burden to carry around. When i began filling my MEU(SOC)1911 mag, it fit tight and didn't spray all over the place. The only time it did was when i removed it from the fill hole, and i think it was the mag fill valve that actually sprayed. Not a big deal though, because basically all gas guns do that. There are only a few minor drawbacks though, like having to use lube more often and some guns aren't compatible with it yet. Another thing is the little translucent red cap that protects the fill tube isn't tall enough or rigid enough to stop the valve from accidentally opening on the propane bottle, if you press it too hard. It's not a big deal either, but it would have been nice if the cap was made out of tougher plastic and was an inch taller. That way you could leave the adapter on the bottle and not worry about it. Other than that, I highly recommend this to anybody with a propane compatible gas gun and anybody wanting to get into gas guns from the start. The price is right, it's cheaper than the steel and aluminum MAD BULL adapter, and is better than the red plastic one...

- Absolutely buy it, May 30, 2008
If you have any kind of gun that uses gas, this is a must have piece of equipment. It is small, metal, and IT WILL PAY FOR ITSELF THE FIRST TIME YOU USE IT. Think about it. You get green gas for about $15. You buy this for $15 and you go to the local hardware store, buy a small canister of propane that is bigger than a canister of green gas for *$3*
Right then and there you get your money back. The next time you get a canister of propane you GAIN like $12!!!! The only downside to this is that propane doesn't smell too pleasent.

- Awsome, April 22, 2008
When i got it it was surpisingly heavy. All it is is just screw it on onto the propane thing and that's it. No leaks just like a green gas can. Definite buy

- Finally aluminum, April 12, 2008
its a about time someone made these out of aluminum. These are stronger than the plastic ones. Seal amazing. the notches on the side dont break off when you are screwing it on a can, hasn't scratched a can or the gun's clip yet. and best of all i have never frozen my fingers on these! (which is why i recommend the plastic one cuz you dont freeze your hand to it)
100 times better than the mad bull one in my view and cheaper :)
BUY NOW!!

- Great, but I had issues with mine..., April 27, 2008
This is fantastic! In the long run, waaay cheaper than green gas. I dropped this valve on asphalt from 3ft up and it did more damage to the asphalt than the asphalt did to it. However, I had issues right off the bat with mine (user error). The valve would not release any propane from the tank by pushing directly down on it. I have to put slight lateral pressure on my valve when filling so the tube will catch the valve on the propane tank. maybe it is just my fill valve, or maybe I am just stupid (probably the latter). Anyway, buy this now and save yourself a bundle in the long run.

- so much cheaper, May 24, 2008
I got one of these a while back, and it has been great. Propane comes so much cheaper than green gas and it gives my gun a little extra power. I have a WE 1911 and this makes it work great. Just make sure to buy your own gun lube.
