This thing is amazing. amazing gun. no problems with it. it's so easy to put the battery in and take it out. i LOVE the STAG ARMS logos on the side of the gun. my friends are jealous ;) it's a little light for my liking but it makes up for it's lightness with performance. i ONLY use KSC BBs. and using .25s improves accuracy a whole lot. after adjusting the hop up (under dustcover) to where i want it and lubing the magazine hole thing where the BBs go in the gun and the barrel and cleaning it, this thing is ready for action. i bought a bi-pod, carry handle mount and a sight and this thing looks mean.


PROS:

LOOKS. i love the matte black finish on the gun

battery installation. so easy with the 1500 mah provided

accuracy. fun to harass soda cans with :)

dust cover gives that nice metal clank hitting the side of the receiver

CONS:

lack of metal

magazine is a little bit of a pain. the hatch is a little hard to open

i know i said that the battery is easy to install. but on a day like today (96 and 60% humidity), it was hard to open the hatch with sweaty palms


all in all...I LOVE THIS GUN! if you want a good M16 but don't want to pay 300 dollars or more for a TM or CA, ECHO 1 is your best bet. GO ECHO!

fantastic weapon! Here's how it worked:
I got the gun 3 days after ordering it from shorty, fast shipping, as I have come to expect from shorty. upon receiving the gun i quickly examined it. the body is almost totally plastic, but extremely durable with only a small creak around the handle and where the barrel connects to the chamber. nothing to fret over, i could tell that if i dropped the gun on something hard it would not break. I immediately charged up the battery (I was rushed so i charged only for 4 hours, but it still achieved peak performance). Hop up adjustment was not very difficult for excel .23 bbs. from one side of my backyard to the other i could hit a can in the center in one try! on fully automatic the cans were devastated. It fires very quickly, about 340-50 fps with .23s, and the 900 rpm is no exaggeration. i could even hit my brother from across the woods with a bad elevation, so accurate is this machine. time for some pros and cons:

pros:
extremely accurate
durable
good mag
easy battery installation (goes inside back of full stock, a bit hard the first time but you get used to it)
looks great, excellent finish, only a couple of scratches to complain about
VERY powerful (from 20 feet away i gave my brother a lightly bleeding welt)
high rpm
high effective range
PRICE
sights easy to adjust
hop up is powerful and responsive to adjustment
cons:
a bit clumsy to hold (longer than most m16s, awkward to place hand on grip)
long, difficult to hide with
that's all! if you have any thought about it, buy this gun!

Well, my gun came in the mail yesterday. For those who do not know, this gun looks exactly like an M16 model gun. Immediately, I started inspecting it. It's real weight, and has a ton of metal parts. I could tell it wouldn't break if I dropped it.

Metal parts go as such:
-metal front sight
-metal back sight
-metal body
-metal dust cover
-metal magazine
-metal outer and inner barrel

Plastic parts include:
-The handle
-The front handrail
-the stock (made of extremely reinforced plastic. There is no way that will break on you)
-the sling mounts
-the rest of the carrying handle

I know that that doesn't sound that great, but when you feel it, it's one of the best plastic AEG's I have held. Of course, like Shorty said, it is a metal gearbox.

Once I charged it up, I took it out for a shooting test. The rate of fire on this gun is amazing. On full auto, I think its somewhere between 800 and 900 RPM. It's between 12.5 rpm, and 15 rpm. The distance on this gun is great. It unleashes a wall of bullets flying in the direction where your shooting. I'm not completely sure of the best distance, or the pattern at any given distance, but I'm sure you could hit a human sized target at 150 feet on semi auto, and on fully automatic, with a spray you could probably reach out to 180 feet.

This gun is perfect for anyone, from a sniper, like myself, to a man who wants to go up front. When distances are too close for sniper use, I could pull this out and become part of the rest of the team.

Cons:
It's exactly the same gun as an M16, so I guess maneuverability is a slight problem
Only a 300 round magazine.
The battery is hard to put in.

While I would love to put in a 'war story' I'm sad to say I've never used this gun with my team.

I got this gun on the 29th of July. The gun looks and feels awesome. Echo 1 got rid of the annoying barrel wobble on their M16's which is good news to me. I owned the M16 DMR and it sucked. I charged this bad boy up and was very impressed when i fired it. It has a Mad Bull hop up bucking and it can fire .28g's very reliably. A half turn up on the hop up and it sends even .28's skyward. Not to mention the sound. Very intimidating. Only problem I've had with it is the fact that it devours fuses. I've already blown 4. I don't even like to spray either. I'm kinda cheap, BBs cost $. With single shot and small bursts, the stock fuse lasted 2 mags. I don't know why it's doing this. If some one could post a reply that pertains to my problem, it would be highly appreciated!

this is a highly accurate gun that is really adaptable. a bad thing about it though is the barrel wobble. but there's a way to fix that. you just tighten the the bolts at the beginning of the barrel. i highly recommend you buy this gun. it's especially great for simulations GGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDD GUN.

I have had this gun for a while and it is absolutely amazing. It resembles and feels like the real M16 so much it is unbelievable. The fps is great as well as the accuracy. I have not found any problems with this gun. The gun is absolutely worth the price. It is built great, i have dropped it several times and it didn't break in any way yet. If you have the money, get this gun!

this gun is great. i have a different model but same gun and brand but in response to pinhead61187 did you check the fuse, because mine broke and you just have to replace it for 2 bucks.

I bought this gun about a week ago it came yesterday and wow what can i say this gun is longer range than my m324 not my mk96 though so it's around there but it's full auto the accuracy is amazing if you get a scope you can hit bulls eyes from 100 feet

here we go

Kinda awkward to hold can't hide with it
Sometimes the bbs don't feed well so you need to shove the mag in kinda scratches it.

All in all i would give it 4.5 stars but i cant : /
