- Compact, effective backup weapon, February 18, 2009
I've had the Galaxy G.1 for almost a year, and it has been a very reliable weapon. I reenact World War Two, and this has been a great backup to my UHC M1911. The 7 round capacity doesn't last long, but the key is careful shot placement. Here are some pros and cons:
Pros
Small, easy to conceal
Full metal, durable
Accurate at close to medium range
Good FPS, good chance your enemy is going to feel the shot
Fits people with smaller hands
Drop-free mag release button
Cons
Small capacity magazine (7 rounds)
The finish wears off easily, but it gives the weapon a cool vintage look
Smallish sights, can be hard to see in low light
Overall, the Galaxy G.1 is a very accurate replica of the Colt .25 pistol and is one of my favorite pistols. It is best served as a backup weapon, although it is surprisingly powerful for its small size. Hope this helps, good luck to you all!

- You'll end up loving it., March 02, 2009
OK... So it's 10 bucks, gets about 95 ft without curving with .2s, full metal externals, and fits in your pocket... You want it.
Now almost everyone's saying that a 7 rd mag cap is way too small... But anyone with a decent secondary and this gun would say otherwise. 7 rounds is more than enough if you're in a tight spot with your primary and secondary dry. If it gives you enough time to reload your primary/secondary, it's done its job in my opinion.
When I first shot it, I was surprised... There's some power in this thing! I thought for sure the fps would be less than 170 (.2s), but after lube, it was even more 0_0... Good accuracy, the grouping gets edgy around 70 ft, but still hits a torso sized target at 95 ft.
Now I don't know if i'm the only one that had this problem, but my Galaxy kept double feeding bbs until I had 3 shots left... I cock once, fine, cock again, bb falls out, but still fires fine... That happens until I have three shots left, then it's fine again. I only get about 5 shots.
I'll be honest, the mag is cheap, and plasticy... But I found something that helped a lot. I took the mag apart and took out the plastic thing on top of the spring. Now all 7 shots fire without double feeding... However for the last shot I needed to tilt the gun down to feed the last bb.
After all is said and done, this thing is awesome.
Good accuracy for its size
Surprising power
Mucho metal
Crazy small
PRICE =)
But...
The mag is cheap (but the capacity is fine)
Like I said, you WANT IT!!!

- Galaxy G.1 Full Metal Spring Airsoft Pistol , April 06, 2009
I bought one of these for one of my son's airsoft buddies as a gift. For the price it's pretty decent.
These boys like carrying a lot of weapons when they have airsoft wars, so I've noticed that they all seem to want a backup to their backup.
This pistol is made with quite a bit of metal, so it has a decent feel to it, and you won't forget that it's in your pocket. It seemed to shoot .2 gram BB's fairly accurately. For a small pocket pistol with a short barrel, it has some distance too. I'd have to say that this gun would be effective in an airsoft battle out to about 50 feet or so.
Again, for the money its a neat little hideout gun.

- For the size... Great!!, February 18, 2009
Let's be serious. For a 9 dollar pistol, you are not going to get a super high quality gun. This gun is good for a concealed weapon or for just shooting at your friends in the basement. This is surprisingly rugged and has pretty good accuracy for its size and price. If you just want to play around with a cheap pistol, then this is a perfect candidate. This has a cool look to it, so if you want to hang it on your wall, it would also be great.

- $10 Bucks, WHY NOT?!, February 19, 2009
This is a great pistol! If you're buying this pistol expecting insane performance, then you need help. It's only 10 bucks, so don't expect anything amazing or special. But for the price, this gun is amazing! 170 fps for a $10 dollar spring pistol is great. Not much less than normal pistols. The feel is great! It's so small and light it's a blast to hold and shoot this gun. You can also draw it from your holster or pocket really fast. The size of this gun is a great benefit. You don't even need to buy a holster for this. You can just fit it in your pocket and you're good to go. It's also full metal, so it feels realistic. Also for a $10, small, spring pistol, the accuracy is pretty good. You can hit targets from about 100 feet with ease. The only downfall to this gun is the clip capacity. It only holds 7 rounds, so be careful if you use this in battle. Instead of buying this though, I recommend buying this same gun with the silencer for only 5 dollars more. You can take it off and put it back on, so if you get tired of it, you can just unscrew it and take it off. All in all, I recommend buying this gun. If you're low on money and don't know what to do with your money, buy this. Even if you're not low on money, just get this gun. It's only $10 bucks, so if you don't like it, you can just sell it to a sucker friend. Here's the pros and cons to wrap it all up:
Pros:
Performance
Look
Feel
Full Metal
FPS
Effective Range
Super Cheap
Cons:
Only holds 7 rounds.
Only one con that won't effect you that much, so order this gun now!

- Best Concealed on Shorty, February 23, 2009
First, the pros and cons, but really these only apply to little guns, (couldn't compare this to a .50AE Deagle!)
Pros:
-Tiny
-Surprisingly good FPS
-Full Metal ( for 10 bucks!)
-Spring powered (if you like that which I do)
-Tactical looking
Cons:
-Magazine size
-May be hard to fit in a holster
-Somewhat hard to aim at distance
Hope this helped!

- Small But Kick-Ass, February 27, 2009
The style of this gun looks like the old-school Saturday Night Special. Even though it only holds 7 rounds, you can still be effective if you know how to use it. Talk about adding insult to injury when you hit somebody with this thing!

- 10 bucks!!! BUY NOW, February 18, 2009
This is one of the smallest guns on the market so you can use it as a back up for your backup. In performance it has a 40 foot range but it is only meant for super close combat. If you get this you should store it in your boot!

- Nice Little Pistol, February 22, 2009
This Galaxy model is a replica of one of the lesser known Colt pistols, the colt 1908 vest pocket pistol. The biggest difference is the addition of a small set of sights. The pistol is made of zinc alloy and the grip safety, frame safety and heel magazine release are all cast as part of the body. The pistol can be disassembled by removing two screws. The spring in this little pistol is surprisingly powerful. It is a more powerful spring than the one contained in an HFC Heavyweight Sig replica. The pistol is surprisingly accurate and powerful. I typically shoot it across the room, but I've worked with it at both 5 and 10 meters. It is handicapped by the small sights. For an airsoft pistol it is accurate at both distances, easily keeping 7 shots within a 5 inch circle. I don't know about hitting a torso sized target at 120 feet. You could readily do that at half the distance.
It cocks easily, shoots where you aim it and feels more sturdy than the typical plastic bodied pistol. It's a lot of fun to plink with. The magazine capacity is in line with the original pistol. Having a 30 round mag would just feel wrong. You can't go wrong with this pistol for the price.

- get this, not the g.1a, March 01, 2009
50 percent more for the g.1a with a suppressor? uh uh. get this instead and the pistol will be able to fit in your pocket or something. trust me the suppressor on the other wobbles and is useless. suppressors make guns more accurate. not that one. my friend has it. it wobbles. doesn't look as cool as the picture. so if you want a galaxy, get this not the g.1a!
