KJW Sig Sauer P226 Full Metal Gas Blow Back Softair Pistol
| |||
| The Sig Sauer P226 was designed in the early 1980’s to compete in the XM9 trials for a contract with the US Military as their standard issue service pistol to replace the aging M1911. Only two pistols passed the trials, the Berretta M9 and the P226. The contract eventually went to the competing Berretta M9, mainly because of cost, however the P226 was adopted by a number of elite military forces including the Navy SEALs after encountering catastrophic failures with their issued M9’s. Manufactured by KJW this airsoft replica is fully licensed by Sig Sauer and features authentic markings with sequential serial numbers. As you might have guessed from the name the Sig Sauer P226 is made almost entirely out of metal and is the exact weight of a real P226 fully loaded. The only plastic you will find on the outside of this gun are the textured grips. The craftsmanship on this model is exceptionally good with an extremely smooth slide cycle and trigger pull. It features a working decocker, combat sights and a rail for attaching a laser or flashlight. Squeeze the trigger and the P226 jumps back in your hand as the slide recoils with a metallic ring. For a full metal gun the slide cycles extremely fast giving the gun a crisp recoil. At 310 fps the P226 packs a punch and has respectable long range performance and accuracy thanks mostly to the guns heavy weight and tight fitting components.
