- Great Mag!, May 13, 2009
This mag gives that Thompson a sort of feeling that makes it feel great. It is full metal and it is very strong and sturdy. It gives the Thompson a great look and it is sure to scare anyone away. It also gives the Thompson the weight that it needs to feel realistic. The round capacity is also great for the Thompson, it lets some new airsofters spray a person down but still have enough bb's to go through 6-10 people. Overall, i would recommend this mag to anyone who has a Thompson, this mag will come in handy and it is tough so it will last through a lot of beating.

- Epic, April 24, 2009
In a world of box mags and other hi-cap lookers, the Thompson drum magazine is a welcome addition. If you're going for that 1920s Gangster-era look, this is the magazine for you and a wonderful addition to your Thompson.
Over and out.

- Amazing, June 13, 2009
I got this about a week ago and it's a great mag. It doesn't have that annoying gear type wheel thing at the bottom like the wind up stick magazine. Because of this, you can easily wind up the drum mag while it is still in the Thompson.
Another thing i loved about this was the fact that you can get around 220 bbs per a complete wind. So you'll get around 440-ish shots out of this thing before you have to start filling it back up.
This mag is also very heavy when loaded with .20 gram bbs, but it's worth carrying that extra weight cause you get a lot of ammo, excellent feeding, and amazing accuracy.
The bad thing is that this will run you up about $65 while the 300 round stick mags cost around $30, but it's worth the money.

Good round drum. Only bad thing is the spinning wheel falls off easily.

- NO FLAWS!!!!!!, August 17, 2009
I bought the drum clip a few months ago and I have used it in A LOT of heavy airsoft battles and dropped in a few times and it still works like brand new! In my practice games with my friends they would want my Thompson just because it has the most rounds than their guns. When I bought my Thompson I had a big problem with the ammo in the shipped clip, but the drum clip fixed that problem and with the wind-up clip can keep firing without reloading - I just arch my Thompson up on something, pull the trigger and wind the clip and don't stop.
Overall, I highly recommend buying the drum clip for your Thompson.

- Keeping it short, sweet, and historical. , July 25, 2009
The Crazy Anx here again.
Do I need to really say anything? Honestly?
No.
It's the drum. No, not "a" drum, it's THE DRUM! Easily the most recognizable ammunition magazine out there. It's a classic, loved by soldiers, cops, and criminals alike. It's real and generous capacity of 50 rounds (I believe) was a boon for the Thompson's wielder.
As for the airsoft version, it does not disappoint. Admitted its overall capacity is similar to some of the Hi-Cap stick mags, but don't kid yourself. Those mags are good, but their length makes them less than practical when prone.
This mag is shorter, but allows for a lower profile when prone.
Practicality and capacity aside, look at it, just look at it. It really is prefect for any Thompson. The old time feel it gives the weapon, I can guarantee upon your first hefting of this weapon, a wide smile will come to your face, as mine did.
It's solid, reliable, and classic.
What are you waiting for, LOAD UP!
Until next time,
- Anx

- this will NEVER jam if you use the right bbs!, November 05, 2009
If you own a m1a1 version, GET THIS!!! it will turn your gun into an entirely different beast!!! Sure the m1a1 hi-cap stick magazine works fine (if you don't mind turning a little clicker wheel for about 30 seconds) and, for the most part, won't jam on you.
This mag is a bit more prone to jamming with the lower quality bb's. however, you can wind the drum mag A LOT quicker, it's way quieter to wind, it holds more bb's in both the main chamber (obviously) and the spring loaded chamber, and you can pour in more bb's without even removing the magazine from the gun!!!
The only bad thing is it's a little bulky. but with 450 rounds, on an accurate machine like the thompson, you can OWN pretty much any battle at any range in any style you choose.
