- ECHO 1 Full Metal STAG ARMS MOD4 AEG Airsoft Rifle, July 22, 2009

I don't know about you guys, but I think for a company that is relatively new to the airsoft industry, Echo 1 is really kicking butt.

Everyone knows Echo 1 for making outrageous weapons in stock, with no upgrades. (need I mention the Echo 1 A.S.C.?) I didn't expect Echo 1 to make one of those TM/G&G/CA type of guns - amazing construction, but low performance but meant to be upgraded. Essentially, this is one of Echo 1's first "upgrade the sh!t out of it" guns. However, the performance is not bad at all for the price. 370fps is more than enough to hurt someone, and the gun is designed for cqb anyway.

Keep in mind, this is actually a gun I don't own/haven't used (yet). I have, however, used plenty of Echo 1 guns such as the vector arms ak47 and mp5, and my friend and I share our X36K. Echo 1 is definitely my favorite brand of airsoft, UTG being the next.

But, should you get this gun? Yes, it's kind of expensive as a first gun though. If you're one of those die-hard airsoft fans, this is a great collectors/up-graders weapon.

Get something like a UTG AK-47 Warhawk or CYMA M5-A4 if you're new to the sport.

I luv this gun! i always used my friend's so i decided to order my own, and it is a beast. echo 1 is now my favorite airsoft company because of this gun! here are the pros and cons:

Pros:
terrific fps
better than 150 affective range
great weight, very realistic
900 rounds per minute!
hop-up that works

Con:
expensive but totally worth every penny

This gun is AMAZING! It's basically the other echo 1 M4 only FULL METAL. All the stats are the same as the other but this has much more metal content. And it's not that much more expensive. And lastly it's VERY cheap for a full metal M4.

I purchased this gun a couple weeks ago, and out of the box i was impressed with this. First thing i noticed was the cold feeling of the metal body and solidity to the rest of the gun even where it was not metal. Nothing on the gun rattles by the way, which is great for an m4. Shooting however was somewhat of a disappointment:

ROF: amazing, Mosfet helps a lot i guess with the 8.4 volt
(putting a 9.6 volt in it skyrocketed its rpm to about 1100)

FPS: great, closed the distance between targets in no time

accuracy: not what it should be with .2's at least. my gun shot up and to the right slightly every time, adjusting the sights and hop up for a long time still produced no better results HOWEVER: taking .25's in the gun increases accuracy greatly but my problem was still apparent (slightly). I am guessing this was just my specific problem but overall great gun, get it.

I don't personally own this gun, but I just wanted to let everybody know that this gun is so much better of a deal than other full metal M4's. First, it is very high quality metal. Second, it comes with a battery and charger. Some people may say that the batteries that these guns come with aren't very good, but in my experience they have saved my butt in skirmishes. This gun is definitely worth the price.

So don't be discouraged by the price.

Alright i got this gun yesterday and it shoots so fast you would own everyone on the field with it.
my friend shot mine at me for fun and it made me bleed instantly.

This gun is crazy. I put a red dot sight on it and it looks sick. I shot at a wooden pole form 100 feet away and hit it every single time.

Pros: extremely realistic, great accuracy

Cons: a few minor scratches, huge orange tip, 300 rd mag it comes with rattles a bit. overall nothing too big.

I would recommend this over the UTG version. I used to have an AK-47 WarHawk and this kicks its @$$. It's definitely worth the extra money to upgrade to a full metal m4.
