- M14 SCOUT!! FULL METAL!!, November 01, 2009
first off i would just like to say - wow. i have seen people shoot this thing and i have to say it is big and powerful. i have to say that this m14 is the most powerful m14 out there. the greatest feature about this gun is the full metal. it is nice and light too, even though it's full metal. it is absolutely excellent.
-pros-
fps = wow (hits so hard)
most powerful m14
great mag capacity
accuracy
battery life
full metal and lightweight
-cons-
rail is a little too far up on barrel for me; idk about what you think.
rof could be a bit better
overall this gun is a solid 4 0ut 0f 5 for me. i am sure you would love this gun. if you are a serious airsofter, i suggest a good red dot sight or scope and an extra battery or 2. this is the most powerful m14 i have seen and i hope you can get the chance to get it. hope this review helps you out.
AIRSOFT FOREVER. BE SAFE ALL.

- M14 Scout, January 16, 2010
Received my M14 Scout for Christmas and finally was able to get it out into the field this morning. As a whole, it was worth the wait except for one minor issue.
While firing the weapon in auto, the vibrations caused the semi / auto selector switch to fall off. Thankfully I was able to find the switch.
Upon returning home I attempted to reattach the switch with little to no luck.
There is a set screw in the switch, and when attempting to loosen the screw, the screw literally fell apart. Hopefully I will be able to find a replacement set screw and hopefully the threads are not damaged.
Other than this minor issue, the M14 Scout preformed well and is a pleasure to operate with.

- Good starter rifle for some money, March 29, 2010
Well I bought this gun for my little brother as an intorduction to airsoft. I wanted to see what would happen if he shot me, so I stepped back and he drilled me accurately from 130 feet away. This gun is a great gun for those people who like more of a rifle feel. It is a replica of the vietman M14, and has some unexpected punch to it. The rifle fits great in a more medium sized person, and the sights are a bit screwy, but it hits its mark.
Pros
Unexpectedly powerful
Great mag capacity especially for a rifle
Stock feels good in the shoulder
Good for its price
Cons
Sights can be hard to use
Strap is no good.
Needs to use polished bbs
Bbs kinda spray all over after a lot of full auto.

- M14 Scout / Sharpshooters dream!, November 19, 2009
I just wanted to say thanks Shorty for your quick S&H of my M14 Scout. It arrived in perfect condition. The M14 Scout, in my opinion, is for those Airsofters who like to snipe & assault. It has the range and accuracy to pick off a soda can from 75 meters without a scope using the perfectly placed adjustable sights. Just switch the selector switch to auto, and pull the trigger. The ROF (rate of fire) is great; at 50 meters you still get a nice grouping. So if you are on the fence about either being a sniper or going assault, I would suggest the M14 Scout; you will not be disappointed. The M14 has seen its time of service in the Armed Forces. They still use it today. OK here is my review with Pro's then the Con's:
Pro's
-realistic weight/Full metal w/synthetic stock
-realistic bolt with sliding action (serves no purpose)
-includes metal hi-cap mag with chuck/key wind
-metals gears & barrel
- Accurate/great ROF/Great FPS
Con's
-the sling that is included - do not attach - buy another sling. Shorty evens gives a warning about the sling that is included. It will not hold up to the weight.
I highly recommend the M14 Scout. You will not be disappointed!

- Sniper/Assault, February 28, 2010
This gun is, in my opinion, AWESOME. I do agree with cam_airsoft_man_13, I do not like the location of the sight rail, so I got the one for the long barrel M-14 and had to use the adapter block(included). I put on my scope and am hitting soda cans at 150' consistently. I have an M-4 and a UTG 324 bolt action; this is the best of both worlds. So if you can get only one, I feel this is the one.
Pro: Accurate
Hard Hitting
Stylish
Metal
Well Made
Solid Performer
Con: A Tad Heavy for smaller shooters
Over All: Get One or Borrow One - You'll Be Hooked Like I Am.

- I love the m14!, April 11, 2010
This thing is awesome. If you use .25 bb's you'll be pawning. Now most people wouldn't do this, but I put the utg 4x32 mil dot sniper scope on this, and I'm loving it. It's got a hefty weight to it and has a good rof. I don't get what's the big deal with getting a gun that shoots 900 rpm. I would much rather prefer a gun w/ 700-870 rpm to conserve ammo. This gun is great for long range and is very consistent. See below for airsoft arsenal.
Long range-m14 scoped (m21)
medium range-ACR ACOG grenade launcher
M16 red dot
med range-AUG 77 red dot grenade launcher
Short range-p90
416 red dot
pistols:
KWA M93RII NS2
y&p m9 nbb

- BUY IT !!!!!, July 15, 2010
AS SOON AS I PICKED THIS GUN OUT OF THE BOX I SAID, "WHOA,THIS THING FEELS AWESOME!" I CHARGED THE BATTERY AND PUT IT IN THE GUN AND GUESS WHAT? A WIRE POPPED OUT OF THE FUSE! IT FIXED QUICKLY THOUGH. SO, HERE ARE THE PROS AND CONS.
PROS:
HEAVY LIKE THE REAL THING
ACCURATE
FULL METAL
NEAT COCKING MECHANISM
CONS:
WIRE POPPED OUT OF FUSE
HARD TO GET BATTERY INSIDE OF GUN
SLING IS HALF A$$ED
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND:
UTG DELUXE RIFLE SLING
UNIVERSAL SMART CHARGER

- Best Buy Ever, May 31, 2010
First off right out of the box this gun is very realistic. It is one of the best guns i have used. I have had an ICS Ak-47 and this gun has out done it by a mile. Although this gun does not have that high of an RPM, the power and accuracy make up for it. Do NOT put a scope on this gun unless it is unmagnified. The scope only actually helps up to 50 feet away. Although this gun is a heavy 9 LBs loaded, there is a solution. Get a sling(mine didn't come with one)and extend it as far as you can. Put on when you are using it and believe me it will make a huge difference. Also the battery on this gun can be very frustrating so all you have to do is unscrew the back of the stock and fix it then put it back on. The hop-up system is the best i have ever seen It is located next to the mag and is very easy to adjust during battle.
Pros
-Heavy(realism suits me)
-Fps(mine was shooting 390-397 consistently)
-Accuracy
-looks
-realistic
-good mags
-full metal
-hop-up system
Cons
-Battery compartment frustrating
-RPM little slow
Over all if you get this gun you will be very happy and never look back on your decision.
P.S. Get the 2 pack of 300 rd mags - it will come in handy.

- PFFT can't beat it, June 04, 2010
the gun literally is amazing. i have a very small airsoft war ground in my backyard about a 1/2 the size of the COD MW@ map rust and i got up on my roof and unloaded my full auto hell on the other team. got them all in 2 magazines of spraying. then they told me to just use the SEMI auto only; still got all of them except i. used my TACSPEC4 mil-dot Military Rifle scope from my uncle who is a swat sniper... 13 shots 7 kills (hits) =.... take my word for it...unless you're getting a mini gun then go for that one.

- DECENT , June 01, 2010
THIS GUN HAS ABOUT 150 TO 175 FEET RANGE - PRETTY GOOD!
THE ACCURACY IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING; I THINK IT IS VERY GOOD!
CLIPS BREAK EASILY SO BE PREPARED TO BUY EXTRAS IF YOU GET IT.
IT'S ABOUT THREE 80 FPS WHICH IS ALSO GOOD.
LONG STORY SHORT GET THIS GUN FOR THE PRICE. IT'S AMAZING AND REALISTIC. CRAZYJAKE OUT!
