- O M G, October 07, 2009
... And like the title, O M G this gun is the most beautiful gun I’ve ever seen in my life. We went to his backyard range and were hitting targets about 210 feet on FULL auto! This gun is full metal and is the sturdiest gun I’ve ever touched/felt. The looks of this gun are amazing. I have a 329$ DPMS M4 RIS very similar to the KWA Full Metal KM4 Tactical AEG Airsoft Rifle and it beat it on every test.
Test (.25g bbs):
1st sodas can 100 feet
-DPMS ---- 9/10
-KWA ----- 10/10
2nd sodas can 150 feet
-DPMS ---- 2/10
-KWA ----- 9/10 (Wind)
3rd sodas can 200 feet
-DPMS ---- 0/10
-KWA ----- 8/10
4th sodas can 210 feet
-DPMS ---- 0/10
-KWA ----- 6/10 (fell short)
So, let’s go to the CONS and PROS
=PROS=
-Looks
-Weight (perfect)
-Range
-High cap (works surprisingly well)
-Gearbox super Hop Up
-Can use .28g bbs
-Makes bleed even at 100 feet
-Accuracy (More than my sniper)
-Rails everywhere
-Built quality
-Lipoly ready (OMG ROF INSANE)
=CONS=
-Price
-Long
-Bleeding factor (LOL)
-Insane ROF (you pass thru a 360 high cap in like 1 minute)
I'm out

- holy..., October 07, 2009
i cannot believe my eyes. this is the greatest rifle ever in the under- $1000 range, outside of customs. i didn't think it was possible to do 1,000 rpm and 400 fps, or even near it, in a gun, again outside of customs, without using an overpowered battery or through the use of unreliable custom parts. and with a 9.6, nearly 1200 rpm, and still 400 fps ;). but because it is kwa, this means that isn't all. life-po baby! and if you don't know what that is, look it up. so much for a puny 9.6, or even 11.1, I'll go and rip with a 14.8. although it is accurate, it is not the high point of the gun. it's the rof and fps. the accuracy is of a medium or so sniper rifle or a high class aeg. this baby does rip, at I'd say 1800 rpm and 400 fps with an 14.8. for a total of maybe, $630. not $1500, which is what you'd pay to get that in a systema, or a custom. people, kwa is the next generation of affordable airsoft, and we're not gonna be 3rd world! buy this gun, as it is one of the best out there!
p.s. first review (i am honored as this gun seems almost holy)
p.s.s this is my favorite gun as of 10/07/09 (sorry m3) out of around 100 guns I've reviewed, and the hundreds more I've used.

- this is the best gun ever made, October 29, 2009
this gun is probably the best airsoft gun ever made..this gun is the most perfectly balanced airsoft replica ever created..it has amazing fps, insane accuracy, an unbelievable accuracy surpassing 200 feet, and feels amazing when you put it up to fire..it should probably be at least $500 or $600..this gun is amazing, period.
P.S. (i actually own this gun)

- Buy and Save, February 03, 2010
The reason I call this gun a buy and save is because there really aren't many upgrades you can do to this gun. Honestly thought out, all of the upgrades you have to do to other manufacturers' guns to get them to perform like this KWA, and remain reliable and sturdy as this gun does, would cost near about 600 dollars. The gearboxes are perfect with all the upgrades you can imagine. The amount of abuse that this gearbox can take is staggering. The compression is perfect. The crane stock is great with a lot of room.
The rate of fire truly is as high as it says. Mine has an almost constant velocity of 400 fps, sometimes it sneaks a 399 or a 401 past. The only thing that I should mention is you can upgrade the barrel to be tighter(stock 6.05mm tight bore barrel).
This gun is also LiPoly ready. You think this gun is great stock? Put in a LiPoly and you are going to be shocked all over again at how well this gun can take a lot and keep going.
KWA has created a group of awesome guns with their new SR series. I can tell you from personal experience that people search for better and thicker brush knowing I walk around with one of these.

- KWA KM4-SR10, July 24, 2010
This is the best airsoft gun you can buy for the price. Out of the box, this gun performs as good or better than my friend's highly upgraded AEGs which cost around twice as much as my SR10. I've never seen a better deal on such an incredible gun.
The following are reviews of this gun's individual aspects.
Aesthetics (5/5): I was amazed when I first saw this gun. I especially love the paint. It's nice and smooth, without any blemishes. It's a flat black color, so it doesn't reflect any light. Also, this gun is full metal, which I feel is the only way to go when buying a gun. It looks very realistic, except for the orange tip, of course.
Weight (5/5): The weight is absolutely perfect. You couldn't ask for a full metal gun to be any lighter. It has enough to feel very sturdy, but not enough to become cumbersome. I carried it around for hours in a battle without a sling and my arms didn't get tired.
Feel (5/5): This gun feels amazing in your hands. The crane stock has plenty of settings, and they're numbered, so you won't forget which one you like. I put a vertical foregrip on mine, which makes the gun feel even lighter, and it helps me aim down the sights faster. This gun has no unusual wobble whatsoever, so it feels extremely sturdy.
Design (5/5): This gun's design was thought out very well. I especially like the design of the RIS unit. It's numbered, and built as solid as a rock. Moving on, the crane stock works well with the Intellect 9.6 volt crane stock battery I bought. The battery install is quick and easy. All you have to do is pull 2 tabs and the back plate pops off. I've heard that this design is much less likely to break than other crane stock designs. Also, I've read that the hop up is of very high quality. Another thing I like is the amount of rails this gun features. It has plenty of space for attachments of all sorts. The only things I wish it has is a sling mount in the front, but you can buy one that mounts to the RIS. Plus, the gun is light enough that a sling isn't needed. The other thing I wish it comes with is a battery, but no big deal. You can get a great one for about $30. Overall, this gun has an excellent design.
Internals (5/5): I haven't seen this gun's internals myself, but from what I've read this gun is built like a tank on the inside (and on the outside, but I can see that myself). The gearbox features 9 millimeter ball bearings, which are much larger than any other I've heard of. The front of the cylinder is also heavily reinforced. Never have I seen a gun more rock solid on the inside or the outside.
Rate of fire (5/5): This gun rips. Even with a basic 9.6 volt battery, this gun fires at at least 1,000 rounds per minute. It could easily be even more, but I haven't measured it myself. The gun comes with a 360 round high capacity magazine. With such a high rate of fire, I'd recommend getting some spare magazines. I prefer mid caps, and I'll probably end up buying some S Arms 160 round mid caps. I did some research, and these magazines will work with the SR10. This gun comes ready to use a lithium-polymer battery, but I choose not to for several reasons. One is the cost. To buy a lithium-polymer battery that fits in this gun's crane stock and a smart charger that charges it safer than a basic wall charger would cost more than $200, and I thought right then and there it wasn't worth it. Another reason is that giving this gun a rate of fire over 1200 RPM seems to be overkill and a waste of BBs. My final reason is that the higher your rate of fire is, the shorter your gearbox's life will be, even with such an exceptional gearbox. I want my gun to last as long as possible.
Power (5/5): This gun has great power. I think 400 feet per second is right where you want it as far as AEGs go. Any more, and people start to complain that "it hurts too much" (wimps). Any less, and your range will be limited and your shots will be affected more by wind. I use 0.25 gram BBs, which seems to be a great balance of power and accuracy.
Accuracy (5/5): I didn't do an elaborate test of this gun's accuracy, but
I'll tell you what I know. I've installed a red dot sight on this gun which helps me aim faster than iron sights do. KWA was very smart to give this gun a stock tight bore barrel. I love the groupings this gun has. When I fire an automatic burst, the BBs stay within a circle shaped area of about 2 square feet at about 150-200 feet away. You can't ask for better accuracy out of a stock gun.
Range (5/5): I've been playing around with the hop up for a bit, and I was shocked at the incredible range this gun has. I couldn't help but smile as I found that I can pull off shots that would be impossible with any other AEG I've tested. I would say that this gun can easily hit a target past 200 feet, but that's an estimation; I didn't get out a measuring tape and check (keep in mind I use 0.25 gram BBs).
Scare factor (5/5): I know I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of this gun. I would assume that anybody with half a brain would think likewise.
Overall (50/50): They say no gun is perfect, but this gun is as close as it gets. If you feel that you can afford this gun, and if you feel you like it, you shouldn't hesitate to buy it. I did a lot a reading about this gun before I bought it, and I can confidently say that I've never seen a better gun for the price.
The following is the summary of this review.

- Flat out rocks!, June 20, 2010
What can i say! Another great product from KWA,this guns is awesome. My only complaint is i wish KWA would work on better external graphics. Otherwise, next to G&P, they are great guns.
