Made in Switzerland, the BIOVAL line of biodegradable BB ammunition is among the best in the world. With years of research committed to their development they are engineered to be perfectly balanced and spherical with ballistic precision unparalleled by any other airsoft round. They are the first bio round which we have tested that not only met but surpassed the performance of a high polish non-bio plastic round. They are also the only biodegradable airsoft BB to be approved by the US Department of Natural Resources. So, not only do you get one of the most precise and accurate BB’s on the market but you get to feel good that you are doing your part to help the environment as you’re pummeling the snot out of the enemy’s team!

Since BIOVAL packages their BB’s in bulk 1 kilogram bags, at first glance they might seem a little pricy. Although, once you calculate the price you pay per 100 BB’s and compare them to other non-biodegradable brands you might be surprised to find that they are often equally priced if not cheaper. Biodegradable, accurate and inexpensive! How could you go wrong?

The .25g BB offers a higher level of accuracy than the lighter weight .2g making it a good standard round for outdoor field use since they are not as easily affected by air currents or wind. Black BBs are good for skirmishing as they are practically invisible when flying through the air compared to your standard white BB.

  • Bulk bag of 4,000 rounds!
  • High polished, low drag finish enhances muzzle velocity and insures reliable feeding.
  • 100% biodegradable, approved by the US Department of Natural Resources.

    5 out of 5- I loooooovve these bb's, April 20, 2010

I love these bb's. They're biodegradable, so you won't have Al Gore breathing down your neck because your plastic bio bb's won't decompose in 5 million years. They're .25 g bb's so it will Increase accuracy. But before I continue, I need to tell you guys. If your gun shoots 350 fps or higher w/ .2 g bbs, you should probably use .25 g bbs. I hear people talking all the time saying, "If I switch, my fps will be to low." Well. if they want to that's fine, but if I were you, I would switch because really it does more good than harm. In severe cases your fps will drop 50 fps, but most of the time it ranges from 20-40 feet lower. So what if you go from 370 to 340, you get more accuracy at greater distances. Even if it's a CQB gun, you'll never know when you're gonna need the accuracy at longer range.

So anyways they're bio, .25, and they're black (read review on airsoft elite .25 bbs for more info), so that's a plus, and they're at an even better price than regular bbs. If you look at the standard .25 bags, there's only 3,000 bbs, in this you get 4,000. So you go longer than if you bought the others, so you won't need to order bbs as often, which means you don't pay shipping as much, which saves $$$

So, all in all, great bbs. No Al Gore knocking on your front door rambling that "Your sport is killing the planet." And they're .25 and they're black. So really the best bbs you can find.

    5 out of 5- Good 4 environment, April 17, 2010

These BB's are great if you don't like BB's laying around your lawn for months. These take a few weeks to start to break down. They are high polished so they hardly ever jam.

    PROS:
Black (hard to see where they came from)
    .25's (accurate)
    Biodegradable (environmental friendly)

    CONS:
    Expensive
