Click here to start our 24/7 Helper Console!With that being said, this handsome looking full size 1911 from WG is great for unwinding after a long day at the office. It will completely decimate a soda can after pumping only a few rounds through it and will send it toppling pop-top over heels. Drop the hammer on this beast and you will know just from its ear splitting crack that it is packing a punch. This pistol sounds more like a pellet gun going off rather than an airsoft gun.
It is solidly constructed with a wide array of metal parts to include its laser etched slide which is fitted with a fully adjustable rear sight. The only main part on this handgun which is not made out of metal is its railed frame which is made out of ABS and still quite sturdy feeling. It uses a detachable magazine which holds 16 rounds and houses a traditional 12 gram CO2 cartridge. Now while this pistol is a non-blow back so the slide does not recoil when you fire, you can pull it back and manually lock it using the functional slide stop. It also has an open ejection port which is great for when you are cleaning it or if you need to extract a jammed BB. The hammer is functional so this pistol can be fired single action for those precise shots or just let the plastic fly as fast as you can pull the trigger in double action.
This model is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system so its trajectory can be adjusted to several different weights of BBs. However, if you are planning on gunning for targets past 25 feet we suggest only using BBs weighing .27g or heavier as lighter weight BBs will be unstable and inconsistent at this high of a velocity.
Overall this is a really entertaining handgun for setting up a row of targets and blasting the living daylights out of them. Inexpensive, well built and fun to shoot!
