- personally not my pick, February 12, 2006
MY REVIEW
PROS:
-hi-cap mags
-removable carry handle
-cool dust cover
-can take apart like the real gun
-moderately accurate
-average range
-its called a kitty kat
CONS:
-overpriced, not worth $80
-only .5J (come on, .5J is not alot, especially paying $80)
-you would expect more metal on an $80 springer
-i hate the way you cock these M-16/M-4 springers
-moderately accurate
-average range
BUY IT WHEN IT GETS MOVED TO THE SPECIALS SECTION
(P.S.- my 1st gun was an M-4 springer, after that i never baught another M-16/M-4 spring gun again because of the way you had to cock the damn gun)

- Very nice springer., November 03, 2005
When I first fired the kitty kat, the first thing I noticed was the sound: while everyone elses gun made more of an extremely springish noise, this one made closer to a "bang!" It is a very accurate gun, and can reach furthur than many other spring rifles. The hop-up, after a few minutes of getting used to, really makes the gun. Turn it up to fire furthur, and when everyone else is complaining about how their fixed hop-up is sending bb's flying up over peoples heads while shooting close-range, you can just turn it down and get a nice shot in the chest. The main disadvantage of the gun is that it's very plasticy; in fact, the majority of the outer body is plastic. But the plastic does hold very well, and my gun has absolutely no problems or marks. Another thing people are saying is that "its not worth $80." That is actually right; it is possible to get it cheaper... other places... (am I allowed to say that?) Overall, it's one of the best single-shot rifle you can get for two digits.

- wow!, January 09, 2006
this gun is so sweet. it is awesome. i just resieved this gun today and i love it. it has very strong and sturdy plastic. the guns length is great. i love its stock. i like how it has so many different positions rather than 1 or 2. the mag is really cool too. it holds so many bbs and when your mag is out of ammo you can just turn a wheel on the botom of the mag to reload more bbs from the resevior. it also has a lot of cool features like the hop up system and the dust cover. this gun has so many options. on top of all of those cool features is its performance. i havnt had a war with it yet but i shot it outside. it has very very good acuracy. and its power is good too. i shot at my 2000 bb bottle and it made a hole right through it.if you think that since it only has 225 fps that it might not so great. THINK AGAIN! it shoots awesome and far. if you want a gun with plenty of different options, awesome acuracy, a big mag, good power, and a solid and stong feel then dont hesitate to get this gun. ITS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

- VERY SOLID RIFLE!!, June 18, 2005
I GOT INTO THE SPORT OF AIRSOFT ABOUT 2 YRS AGO, AND OWN ABOUT 9 GUNS.PRIOR TO MY RECENT PURCHASE OF THE G36C, " THE KITTY" was the last rifle that i purchased, and i gotta say, i find it to be very well detailed, easy to disassemble, and above all it has incredibly smooth action, with a very good punch behind every shot. The acurracy is very good, especially for targets between 80-100 feet away. Overall great gun at a great price. This is without a doubt a must have!!.

- Pretty dang good, July 11, 2005
The DPMS A-15 Kitty Kat, has got to be one of the best little m4 style guns I have gotten my hands on. It's sturdy, looks like it can take some abuse, and has great detail. There are still some issues with the gun that need to be adressed however.
The charging handle is one, though it is made of sturdy plastic, it would have been much better if it where plastic. It will last awhile but if you bend it upwards to far you could snap it. So taking your time and cocking the gun correctly is important. The one other problem I see with the gun is when you field strip it. The two rear receiver tabs that hold the gun together dont seem to be the most durable peices of plastic. Thus I sugjest NOT taking the gun apart alot, if you need to get in there to fix something then by all means go ahead. But just field stripping it to look at the pretty internals is not a good idea. It will wear these pins down after awhile and possibly break them.
The gun itself is very compact, when the stock is fully collapsed the gun is almost as small in length as the HFC Uzi. Now that's pretty small, I have no doubt that this gun when fully collapsed is even shorter if not just as short as an MP5. The gun actually has decent power, it sends a .12g BB flying pretty far and almost approached my TS SR-16's range. All in all with its good range, compact size, and great detail this is great gun for an Airsofter looking for a high grade rifle. I give it a 5/5

- DPMS Kitty Kat, May 17, 2006
Well, First Of All I Like The Ajustable Stock,Secondly Its Pretty Easy To Cock,
And Its Pretty Powerful,Accurate,And It Comes With A High Capacity Magazine
It Shoots Smooth, And Since Im A Sniper I Have A Scope For It I STRONGLY Reccomend It For More Accurate Fire The Only Problems Are That You Have To Wind It Every 40 Shots And It Jams Sometimes Range Can Be A Little Better too So Overall:
Pros:
Powerful
Accurate
Ajustable Stock
And Comes With 300 rd. Clip
Cons:
Its Annoying When You Have To Wind It
Its Also Annoying When It Jams
Range Can Be A Little Better
(I Reccomend Getting A 50rd. Clip It Jams Less And You Dont Have To Wind IT)-AirsoftSniper69

- Is a cool gun but..., December 08, 2005
This is an alright rifle, ut the power just isn't impressive. For $60 bucks its cool, which is the price i can get it fo, but $80 seems like a waste when other guns, like the panther arms A-15 are for the same price.

- low power but then again "headshot", December 13, 2005
this thing is so accuracy me and my friend had a compotition who could hit the shovel handle 80 feet away (we hit it a lot). so if your friends bitch about you geting a powerful gun but all u want is accuracy look know further. (it only uses .2g so its more powerful then your friends think)
