 - yea its good, October 23, 2007 I did a longer review on the green version of this gun but for those who have only cheacked this gun out let me give you the run down. First its a great rifle it shoots so accurately its not funny. so let me give you a war story. (different then the green one)
So me and 2 other guys were doing a sniper search. I had this baby and a glock 17 by kwa (awsome)the others had a couple gas pistols i think a revolver a 5.1 hi capa ( very cool) a glock fully auto and a 9 mm. So i was about 150 -170 feet away on a hill behind a rock in a garden. In front of me were a bunch of trees. So they advanced and one guy in no time saw me. But the other guy could not see me at all. so the guy that could see me was trying to tell the other guy where i was. i pulled off a couple shots but he would always be moving back behind the tree. But then a snipers dream he showed i'd say 1/4 his body and i pulled the trigger used the crosshairs as center mass and bam right in the neck. I was so happy. It was not my first kill but by far my most prestigious( cant spell). So the game continued and ended in a draw with us two ending up with both are pistols drawn at each other. My glock 17 and his glock fully auto. We both did not want to punch 21 rounds into each other so we drawed.
My rating:
Accuracy 9/10 always room for improvement but come on neck shot at over 170 feet! and it can do way better up to 210
Preformance 10/10 never jammed
Looks 10/10
weight 7/10 the weight will kill ya trust me this is a beast if ya got trouble holding rifles up then buy another.
funess 10/10
price10/10
overall:56/60 = 93%
Buy this you wont regret it.
One more thing if put the barrel on something just the barrel it will twist it slightly up and away from the frame. so what i noticed is that it makes the cocking mechanism harder to pull so always use a bypod or put it on the frame never on the barrel.

 - First review seemingly..., October 10, 2007 So I admit that I don't actually own this gun, but I do own the Gen. 3 M324, and it's amazing. Because of this I would assume that a sniper from the same make with a more powerful spring/components would just improve on perfection. From what I've seen this gun is amazing, plus the color is good for desert settings. I hope a legitimate owner actually reviews this soon, but until then enjoy my review I suppose...

 - AWESOME!!!, October 31, 2007 Shoots extremely hard. Has awesome range. Very good magazine capacity. When I say its very consistant, I mean that if you shoot at the same mark twice you will hit it both times. For all you snipers out there this is a MUST buy!
Pros
FPS- 480
Range- 200
Mag Capacity- 23 rds.
Cons
Price- $170 (a little much but worth it)

 - oh my god., October 10, 2007 First UTG had the M324, then the MK96, now this! This gun has the insane abilities of its counterparts, while in digital camo! I'm not a big believer in digi camo, but it helps a little bit. I prefer the sandard blob camo. This is a great addition to any airsoft players arsenal, but think about it. This gun costs $5 more than the other two. I'd go with it, but think about it first.

 - If you're all about camo, get this, but I recommend black!, November 06, 2007 My friend got this gun a while ago, and still it's the best firearm in our personal lineup. It's got a solid feel, and it feels like a gun that would cost $300 , also it's got a good weight so that it's realistic, but not too heavy to carry in battle. The style of the weapon is incredible, and the stock is very comfortable for long firefights. The power and accuracy of the gun is 5 out of 5, and the only tricky thing is getting your hop-up right. Once your hop-up is adjusted to match the weight of the BB and the scope, you should be easily hitting 1x1 FT targets at 130 ft and that's about the size of someone's head. Comparing this gun to the M324, which I have, I would have to say that this gun outfires my sniper rifle. The power alone is insane, and even though both rifles have about the same effective range, the MK96's BB travels about twice as fast and hits harder. Once, I was playing in a mid-sized backyard at night and my friend snuck up on me and my two buddies. We had a shotgun, aeg, and sniper, and he took us out alone from about 15 feet away. Yeah, we had welts...
I recommend this as a first rifle for anyone who is new to airsoft or wants to become a sniper, or to any veteran sniper who is looking for a powerful, upgraded rifle. My only two complaints: the magazines can be a bitch to reload in combat, but for another 10 bucks just pick up 2 more, and you should be good for battles, and also the bipod is a little weird, i recommend the UTG bipod that comes with the M324.ΆΖ

 - Heres A Lesson On Airsoft Sniping..., October 31, 2007 Ok, as far as the gun goes, this is a great quality weapon. The range is great, and the fps allows you to use digicon .43 gram sniper ammo. The digital camo finish is an amazing touch to an already amazing gun. The bi-pod does swivel a bit as you focus the scope on your target, but this is needed. When you are sniping, 75 out of a 100 times your target is going to be moving. It is extremely difficult to pick up your 9 pound sniper rifle so that you can start to aim again. Before you even think of going on the airsoft field, read your scopes manual. Sniping is a one-shot one-kill class of weaponry. You have to know how to focus your scope. However, if you play outside, I urge you to get an AEG sniper. A few mph wind can throw off your shot, and in the end, give you a few welts from the other teams guns. Although if you have tournaments in a low wind area, or indoors, then this is a great alternative to the $285 Tokyo Mauri Type L96 Warrior. Just remember, this is a clone of Tokyo Mauri, and will never truly copy, or exceed the real brand.
-Get the Tokyo Mauri M3 Benelli shotgun by the way. The new UTG clone preview is under the specials section on ShortyUSA. The ORIGINAL is only $145 (no stock), and also $165 (full stock) on CobraAirsoft.com!

 - UTG MK96 Shadow Ops Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle Army Digital Camo , October 15, 2007 Well first of all, the FPS is amazing. I personaly wouldn't want a bb going faster than 500 fps for an airsoft gun just becuase no one will want to airsoft with you so the gun has just the right fps. Also this gun has great range, no one will be able to get close to you.
Lots of metal parts on the gun, very sturdy so there is no chance this is breaking anytime soon.
This gun comes with a bi-pod and a speed loader (which is awesome) which is an added bonus
The digital camo also look pretty nifty so that is another added bonus.
If you do get this gun I would recommend getting the .3bb's becuase the gun can shoot them at 400fps which is still really fast and it improves the accuracy alot.
anyway great gun :)!

 - great rifle, October 18, 2007 When i saw the price for this rifle i wasnt expecting much but i decided that id give it a try anyway. I couldnt be more impressed with the accuracy and power of it. ive been playing airsoft for about four years and i am currently the sniper on a team and i can hit targets at about 200-250 ft with ease with this rifle. I have so far used only .3 gram bbs and it easily hits 450 to 500 fps along with great accuracy.
pros- price
realistic weight
acu style camo
accuracy
close to 500fps
cons- hard to dial in to a scope
