- I legit own this
I bought this gun a month or two ago, and boy, this thing is worth the 150$. I've been in only one war with it so far, playing one round with 4 person free-for-all,and three rounds of two-on-two.
WAR STORY: Me and my buddy were taking cover behind two massive trees after waiting in the snow for around ten minutes. Our two opponents charged our position, one with an M14 i don't know the brand of and one with an Umarex/VFC H&K 416.My partner had an MP40 of some sorts, but he got hit early and never got to use it that round. Me, armed with the JG M4 New Gen, waited it out. The H&K guy rushed my position, opening fire on me full-auto style. Suddenly i hear him yelling to his partner that he's out of ammo and to cover him. I pop out and shoot him in the back with a full-auto burst. I make quick work of the M14 guy as he rushes to a better spot.
There are 2 lessons here. 1: always buy spare mags. I bought two extra 300 rd Echo 1 mags that work great. Mr. H&K only had 1 mag. 2: This gun kicks butt.
This gun looks great. It is two-tone gray and black and has decent intimidation. The stock has many positions and is adaptable for CQB and long range shooting.
Its iron sights are fantastic but are hard to use with a mask. I intend to buy a red dot sight or a MIl-Dot of some kind.
The gun is lightweight and i never notice being weighed down by it even though i'm not a strong guy.
Its hop-up is revealed under the dust cover when you cock the gun. I recommend keeping the dust cover closed when in the field, especially in rainy or snowy environments. I cannot speak of the performance of the hop, as i use .20s and i don't need extra hop.
One thing i have noticed is that this gun seems to be more accurate when on full auto. When i shoot targets on semi my BBs always curve up and to the right. On full auto this effect is greatly reduced. Maybe i'm imagining it or it's just my gun. I have yet to try .25s in this rifle, so they might help this issue.
Accurate (On full auto? *see above*)
Battery hard to get in (It's an M4 duh)
No rail on hand-guard :(
I would recommend buying at least one extra mag and a smart charger with this rifle (Scope/sight optional)
