5 out of 5- scientifically proven advantage

The reason that the U.S. Marines have recently developed the digital camoflouge is NOT becuase it is harder to see. Believe it or not, it is actually because it disrupts your enemy's aim. I recently talked with my NJROTC commander who is a former Marine and he told me about their new digital camoflauge uniforms. He said that the pattern on them is hard for the eyes to focus on through sights. However, this vest will not make you ivisible, just harder to hit in the chest. I only reccommend wearing it if you have clothes that are similar or the same to it, it does not mix well with other camoflauges. But if you wear it right, the same thing that happened to my team's sniper could happen to you(read more).

We were being chased down after 2 of our 4 teammates(including us) were shot down. I saw a good tree for cover to him, and a rock that I could run around the back and get an elevation advantage by going on top of it. We bunkered in and saddled up for a showdown. After only about 2 seconds, the 3 of them showed up. The commander haulted them and motioned one of them who had a S9 to flank far to the left side while the other two moved closely together in a leapfrog pattern. I whispered into my throat michrophone to my sniper that I would quickly kill the S9 with my UTG M87 SOS, and that in the split second diversion, I wanted him to shoot down whichever one he could of the remaining two. A loud shot rang out in the quiet and the S9 guy started swearing and holding his side. then I turned toward the other two just in time to see one scream in pain and fal to the ground. "Great job, Smoke(my sniper's callsign)." As I raised my SOS to take out the commander(he was a friend of mine and knew how to shoot), his Double Eagle M-16 barked out in a rage as he took cover behind a tree. So it was him and Smoke left, but there would be only one survivor. He leaned out from the tree a little bit with his rifle set to kill. I noticed he looked at Smoke for about half a second. I was thinking we were done. But then, he looked closer as if he wasn't sure of something. The moment he lowered his gun, he reached up to his forehead and it was like a movie moment. He let off about 10 shots into nowhere just as a reflex of pain, and was rolling around on the ground. Later, we took a look at his wound and saw that Smaoke's M324 left blood on his forehead through a balancava. Marine camo won us that fight.

5 out of 5- Delta Elite Cross Draw Vest Digi-Camo

This vest is very good, heav strong, and adjustable.

Places where you can adjust it:sides, shoulders, waist(belt). It comes un adjusted so when you put it on(atleast for me) it is very big. You have to do some realy adjusting and it takes longer than you think to adjust it just right. I have a D Eagle and the digi camo leg holst to go w/ this so i had make sure the belt was really tight so it could support the D Eagle. Unfortunately, the pistol mag pouches above the holster or interchangeable magazine pouches, DO NOT fit D Eagle magazines. The pistol magazine pouches on the belt are adjustable so you can put D Eagle magazines in those. So, if you have a D Eagle and a leg holster, you can hold 4 pistol magazinesincluding the one already in the gun. The holster on the vest will not fit a D Eagle at all so if you have one, buy the digi camo leg holst to go w/.
On the inside, the intire back side of the area behind the holster and magazine pouches are big zippered pockets. You can put just about anything in them. I put my D Eagle magazine loading in them because it doesn't fit in the universal pocket.
The entire back panel is a huge velcro pouch the velcro seal is at the top of course. My plan is to put a camel back in it. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a big rubber bladder for water with a hose you can run out of the pocket and clip onto metal thingys located on the shoulder even when adjusted.
If you have always played in an under shirt, light weight t-shirt, under armor etc., this vest will be very heavy for you and it will severly limit you mobility for the first 5-10 matches. I'm talking about matches were you are running around a lot. This thing weights you down and it will be hard to make quick turns with it. After a while it softens up and is extremely comfortable!
When you completely load this thing, i suggest putting it on and going for half a mile to one mile jogs every day/other day. This sounds retarded but it will get you into great shape and make you able to run for a very long time with the vest on. This vest is not for snipers, fat asses, or support people with big AEG's that kinda stand there and just lay down fire. If you are any of those people, this vest is not going to be good for you unless you jog like i told you to.
overall this vest hold just about everything and if you are a little skinny like me, this vest cannot tighten down enough to be a snug fit and is a little loose but that's ok. Go through puberty and get some muscle and you can fill it out.
    Please take my advice,
    ExPlOdInG WhAlE

5 out of 5- Digital Camo in General

To add on to what Commander_Night said(nice story, by the way) digital camo disrupts the aim of the enemy, but, it also makes you blend in better. Yes, even thought there are a bunch of squares on it it makes you blend in much, MUCH better. With old camo there were distinctive lines, shapes, and color changes, fixed for everyone. But with the digital camo, the squares actually let your eye (and brain) form the pattern on the clothes. this lets the pattern be individual for each person looking at the camo. Basically, the pattern looks different to everyone from a distance. the military also used a technique in that by combining similar colors the clothes as a whole blend in with eachother better. You will also notice that the base color is not green or balck, butit is tan. this is because green and black actually stick out MORE at a distance rather than a lighter, less solid color, suach as tan.

As a test, in your house that you can do right now, yes RIGHT NOW, scroll up and look at the picture of this vest. Then cross your eyes just enough so the picture gets blury. Then hit Ctrl N and bring up the page with the same vest, but in classic woodland camo. do the same cross-eyed action. do it a couple more times for each picture. You will note that the classic woodland camo stands out more. It is a stronger consetration of green and dark colors. the digital camo is a softer composition and does not stand out as much, wihc means you won't stand out as much if you where it. So, to sum it all up, they make this stuff for a reason, IT WORKS! Because this vest is the same price as the digital camo one or the black one, buy this one, PLEASE. i would much rather be shot by someone i can't see than buy someone who i can see from 100 yards away (yes, i have seen people with camo one from 100 yards away, alying on the ground).

    5 out of 5- Sweet

I dont have this vest but from what I have seen about the camo it has to be good. At my local army recruiting place they were displaying the marines digital camo and it is just awesome. Its hard to believe but this camo is actually better.(in my opinion) I also saw this on a T.V. show and they were comparing this to the old camo. You could see the older camo way easier than this. If you are buying one of the 50$ vests buy this or the desert one. WAY better than the old camo.

5 out of 5- This Vest is Awesome!

This vest is awesome! It is really good. Not only can it hold your mags, pistols, radios, but it can also hold other various items, (a.k.a. a Twinky). That is only half of it. The digi-camo is probably the best camo out there besides getting a ghillie suit. The reason this camo is so good is because of the way all the tiny little squares help to break up your outline. Like Willby2 said, it is way better than old camo. If it is the same material used as in the military, it can also help to reduce your heat signature (thermo) and makes it harder to see you with night vision (not that many people are going to use thermo or night vision). Although it is only a vest, so i don't know how much it would help in those categories. Anyways, I hope that this helped,
    Signed,
    The King

5 out of 5- GREAT CAMO

The camera flash in the picture makes the camo look 50 times lighter than it really is. It is dark enough that I could stand in a forest( me=6ft 3 or more in, very big) and you would have trouble finding me plus I would be in a tree with my UTG M324 sniping you. Holds alot of gear, you can attatch GI gear to belt for anything else you need to carry. Has detatchable holster/ mag pouch attatched by velcro and 2 plastic length adjusters

5 out of 5- Great vest

I gave this vest a 5 because it fits so good and has room for everything. this vest has 4 pockets for M-4 ( I have an M-4 Freedom Fighter and those mags fit perfectly see my review ) or M-16 mags that hold 2 mags each. It also comes with an extra 2 mag pockets that you can put where the holster is if your like my and don't have a pistol. The holster will fit my co2 bb gun though but it is only a PPK so it isn't that big. It comes with a tactical bet that you can take off and just use it for extral holsters. The belt has 2 pistol mag pouches in. The vest itself has 3 pistol mag pouches above the holster and 1 on the holster. It has 1 multi purpose pouch that I can't figure out what to do with. It is not very big at all. It has shell holders that you can take off If you don't need shells like me. It would be very helpful for someone with the Super 9 Sniper or any team sniper. It has a pocket on your left for a radio or for those that get hungry it will fit a small snack. The vest is see through where there is no pocket so those of you that want this vest for protection it wouldn't work as well as the one that says combat. The vest is adjustable so it will fit anyone. I hope this helped your desision.

5 out of 5- Damn good vest

the vest is big at first - you have to adjust it. has many pouches in it which is a plus. in this vest i carry 2 magazines, 2 pistol magazines, my cell phone, pistol 2, 2,000 count bottle of .2g and .28g. also i would only recommend buying digital camo for this vest - if you have digital camo clothes it blends more than with other clothes. b/c it's harder to sight in on someone if you have digital camo on and that's why the military uses it. but if you don't have the clothes don't. buy it b/c it's better than carrying clips, a pistol and ammo in you pants.

    PLZ RATE.

4 out of 5- Vests Vests everywhere, if only i had some $%&# money...

By the by, this is the same review that i posted for all the other ok vests, just letting all you wild and crazy guys know - >'.'< - thats my cat, i call him fluffy dooville.

I like these vests, they are cool and they carry everything you need. The only problem is the price. If you go to a game with your friends (well those who have friends) and you show off your "cool" new vest, they will most likely ask how much it costs. It seems sad, at least to me, that my "cool" new vest actually cost only ten bucks less then my primary rifle with its extra magazine. Finally, i must say, what could someone possibly put in all those pockets?
