Thompson spring special! ONLY $149.99!! Regularly $249.99!! Offer good while supplies last!!

Carried by war heroes and gangsters alike, the Thompson has had a very long and colorful career which spanned over 60 years. The .45 cal submachine gun better known as the Tommy Gun first entered production in 1921 and quickly became the weapon of choice during the infamous gang wars of the prohibition period. It also saw heavy use during WWII and continued to see service well into the Vietnam War.

This variant of the Thompson is the M1A1 which was adopted by the U.S. military shortly after the start of WWII. It featured the horizontal foregrip, protected rear sight and had the bolt located on the side of the receiver instead of on the top. The M1A1 was issued with the stick magazine instead of the drum magazine typically seen used by the gangsters of the 1920ís.

For those of you who donít have two grand and a class 3 license for a real Thompson, this officially licensed airsoft replica is a good solution.

Manufactured under contract by King Arms this Thompson M1A1 has a very high metal content which includes the upper receiver and barrel as well as many other smaller parts such as the sling mounts and sector/safety switches. On top of being metal, its upper receiver even features trademarks from Auto Ordnance Corp. for added realism. Its stock, pistol grip and foregrip are constructed out of dense ABS plastic with a very convincing wood grain finish. One interesting feature is the unique curvature of the stocks butt plate which enables the shooter to rock the gun up from the ready position to the shouldered firing position in one fluid movement. Overall the gun is extremely well built with notably good balance and rock solid feel.

The gearbox is a full metal Version 6 with steel gears running on 6mm metal bushings for increased durability. It has been fitted with a ported piston head and a high performance spring which produces a velocity of 400+ fps at the muzzle using a .2g BB. Powered by an 8.4v battery the Thompson will achieve 650 rounds per minute which is only slightly off from the 700 rounds per minute of the real M1A1 submachine gun. With its adjustable hop-up system the gun is able to accurately fire BBs weighing from .2g all the way up to .28g. The adjustment dial for the hop-up system is craftily hidden in the guns mock ejection port allowing for easy access to fine tune your accuracy on the run.

The overall quality in the appearance and feel of the King Arms Thompson is noticeably better than the preceding models from CYMA yet is priced surprisingly close. If you are a war buff or simply want a unique AEG to take to your next skirmish, the King Arms Thompson is one gun you should add to your collection.

Included with the Thompson is an 8.4v 2000mah mini type battery pack, 300mah trickle charger and speed loader. Charge time: 6.6 hours

(Just FYI: The stock is able to accept the massive 8.4v 4200mah battery although the butt plate can not close the last couple of millimeters. However, if you were to knock out a couple of tabs inside of the stock it fits perfectly.)

5 out of 5- amazing and just amazing

pls do not let my rank bother you, i was a 3 star general on my old account until i forgot password and made new account. This gun is one of the most amazing guns i have ever bought off shorty, i received this gun yesterday and i was highly impressed with the way it was built, pretty much everything that is black is metal, the fake wood is very sturdy and is very strong. if you ever hear anything about it being wiggly or some parts a bit loose ignore that, it's not rattly at all, well built and nice weight! the fps is 400w/.2 and it's very accurate, i test shot it and the bullets didn't curve until about 170 feet, maybe 180 depending on weather and wind, i used it today in a war and i didn't get out once and it dominated! it will leave a decent mark in what ever you're shooting. great gun! LOOKS BEAST AND SCARES YOUR OPPONENTS, one of the most accurate guns i own. be sure to get a high cap mag.

    PROS:
    FULL METAL(EXCEPT FAKE WOOD)
THE WOOD IMITATION IS MADE DENSE, STRONG AND STURDY
    GREAT RANGE!
    extremely accurate
comes with sling that can handle the weight
    NICE fPS
    NO WIGGLES OR RATTLES
    Great FPS!
    PRICE

    CONS:
WISH IT HAD A HIGHER RATE OF FIRE BUT ITS NOT A BIG ISSUE
(just buy a 9.6v battery for higher rate of fire)
( I FIND NO OTHER CONS)

this is a must buy!! it will not disappoint!

5 out of 5- Great bang for your buck!!!!

First off don't be intimidated by my rank. this just first time buying and reviewing for and from this website. ... Now to the gun. this gun has a lot of power and pretty good rpm. this gun shoots at about 412 fps with .20 g bbs. now with .12 g bbs you can reach 500fps ... that is what it says on the box but don't take me by my word(i havn't tested them with .12 g bbs). This gun shoots easily over 100 ft and i out played my cousins echo 1 a.s.c and it cost 250$. anyways i love the gun and it's the best gun you can get for the price. this gun will outplay or equal any ares or magpul, but not as smooth gear box. this gun is very solid, except the rear grip which houses the motor. it jiggles a little. but over all this gun performs well. it weights about 7 lbs giving it a realistic feel. get this gun if you don't have a real high budget. now for pros and cons.

    -pros-
    -great fps 400-500
    -pretty good rpm
    -good realistic feel
    -pretty smooth gearbox

    -cons-
    -grip pretty crappy
-some problems with battery connection but fixed
    that's pretty much it.

here is the link to my youtube channel with a review of the gun and shooting tests.

4 out of 5- exellant gun

this gun is sick! I got it two yars ago and it only failed once so far (the fuse blew on mine). but besides that it is a great gun. it is very realistic and sturdy. it is also very easy to disassemble. it has a good price tag and the FPS is very good. the RPM could use some bolstering up though. I used this gun until I replaced it with my SCAR but I still use it from time to time.

    Pros:
    weight (about 7 pounds)
    realistic feel
    FPS
    looks
    accuracy/range

    Cons:
    no weaver rails
    bad fuse (at times)
hands can slid on the grip if they are sweaty

4 out of 5- best gun I've ever had

This is a great gu., I recently got this gun and used it in an airsoft battle and it is amazing. The gun has a very realistic look and feel to it. It has really good power. I got to about 380 fps with .25 gram bbs. Its firing rate is a little below average at 650 rpm, however if you use a 9.6 volt battery instead of the stock 8.4 you can get it close to a thousand rpm. The rear handle and the barrel are sometimes a little bit loose for me but nothing too bad. Overall this is a great gun especially since it's only $200. It's a great buy and I would suggest it to anyone. The only reason I rated it a four star is because the mags you get for it don't hold as much bbs as the average airsoft gun. The drum mag holds 450 rounds but I would suggest the normal high cap stick mags because they're smaller and still hold 380 rounds so they're easier to carry around with you.

5 out of 5- best $200 gun on the market

this guns is supper cool! well built, every thing that is black is metal and the imitation wood is strongly well built, it's very dense and i've dropped my thompson a few times in the woods and on side walks, and i've banged it against a couple trees in woods while running, and after all that beating it's just a few scratches and a tiny bit of wobbling, but the gun isn't wobbly at all when you get it, no wiggles wobbles or rattles, well built! great fps! great accuracy, amazing range, and it's just a beast! this is a must buy!!!!!

4 out of 5- Thompson Military Version

This Thompson although not the 1928 version is able to use the Drum Mag. I personaly don't own this gun but my Uncle does. In one airsoft battle i got 5 nice big welts from it. of course i was only wearing cargo pants and a T-shirt for protection but this thing rips like a beast.

    Pros
    Powerful
    Fully Metal
    King Arms
    Strong Metal Gearbox
    Decent RPM
    Good Range
    Cons
    Handle is a bit wobbly
mag Release takes a bit of time but it is a thompson and that's just the way it is

    Overal a very good buy
