Constructed with a high quality metal shell these magazines are highly realistic in both look and feel. Being of a mid capacity design this magazine will hold more than a traditional standard magazine however it won’t rattle like a high capacity magazine. Great for missions where stealth and concealment are the name of the game!

  • Works in rifles compatible with Marui type AK series AEG magazines.

5 out of 5- Great mag

This mag is the best non high cap mag you can get! It's very sturdy and never misfeeds. There's not much you can say other than it's great and durable! Buy this, it's worth it!

    5 out of 5- Best

Think real for a second, all the high cap mags you'll have to reload every 50-60 shots, and they are all plastic.

Only thing is that these are 25 bucks each.

So if you have the money, buy 2 or 3.

    Peace out

4 out of 5- Minor issues out of the box.

The short version for those who don't like to read: These magazines may require some minor hand fitting (and this is something that can happen with real-steel firearm magazines in some cases).

If you are willing to work with that, then I recommend these magazines. If you want instant gratification out of the box, you might be better off with a different mag. The Echo 1 600 round hi-cap that came with the gun did not have any fitting problems.

These magazines were very difficult to lock into place on my Echo 1 Red Star AKM AEG because the metal on the front edge of the magazine was just slightly too wide.

This problem can be easily resolved by very lightly filing away a small amount of metal from the sides of the front edge of the magazine with a hand file. Don't use a Dremel or any other powered grinding tool because you can take off too much metal too quickly.

If you try inserting and removing the magazines several times, the black finish will rub away, making it very clear exactly where the metal on metal contact is occurring.

Otherwise, these are excellent magazines. Don't try loading them with a standard magazine loader tube; the BB's will fly back in your face once you try to fill the mag beyond about 70 rounds.

The UTG magazine loader (the one that is shaped like a pistol mag) works very well for loading these magazines.

2 out of 5- Not so great

I bought three of these mags and and only one works right. RDM1984 is right, you do have to remove some metal to get them to fit in the gun correctly. But once i did this the 2 of the 3 mags did not work. Still not sure quite why they did this. It would have been a great price if it had worked.

    1 out of 5- waste

I got this when i orderd my Echo 1 Covert ak. at first i had to file down the catch to fit my ak. Like the other guy at the top said you had to do, then it worked.

About a week ago i was in a pro airsoft practice( i have to help teach the newbies how to work on our team because i am second in comand, like vice president)and it stopped feeding. i tried to use lube on it because the spring refused to go up all the way, leaving a huge gap of bbs left in it. i got it to work for a while but then it stoped feeding again in a high stress situation and i am like what the ****. Now i have to hold it staight in the magazine well, looking like a dork because i have a utg forgrip on the front. i am going to attempt to take it apart to see what's with it, but i am just going to stick with high caps for a while. it's anoying to reload a lot anyways, for me at least.

3 out of 5- Sketchy Mags

I bought one of these for use with my Echo-1. You'd think since the mag is made by Echo-1 that it would fit perfectly in an Echo-1 weapon. However, that was not the case. Because of this I keep having feeding issues. To make it fit I had to file down the front catch on the mag. If you don't mind putting in the work then this is a decent mag.
