The new Tactical version of the FAMAS SV features a heat shield with an integral mounting deck! Also included is a vertical foregrip, working red dot sight and flashlight!

For those of you who are tired of the countless M4/M16 variants flooding the market and are looking for a unique spring rifle then this fully licensed FAMAS SV is the gun for you.

Construction: While it is made out of ABS plastic with some metal internal parts the FAMAS has a well balanced and sturdy feel. Some might think it has a somewhat awkward looking design although the FAMAS is actually very comfortable to shoot. The rear peep sight is click adjustable for elevation. Also if iron sights are not your thing there are weaver rails on the carry handle and under the foregrip for accessorizing with scopes, red dot sights, lasers and flashlights. With a reversible cheek rest and center cocking bolt this gun is perfect for either left or right handed shooters. Since the cocking bolt is located in the center of the rifle the shooter can keep one hand on the pistol grip and still cock the gun so you can fire this gun quite rapidly.

Performance: We were pleasantly surprised with the performance the FAMAS produced. With a .2g BB it can easily keep up with an ultra grade A-15. In the hands of an experienced shooter taking full advantage of its rapid fire capabilities the FAMAS could spell disaster for the opposition.

Comes with flashlight, red dot sight, sling and loading tool.

Shown with but not included: King Arms Vertical Foregrip.

5 out of 5- just what is was looking for!!

I'm sick of all the m16s, mp5s,and m4s dominating the market it's time for a change of pace. when i saw the electric Tokyo mauri version i went crazy knowing I'd never get it cause i won't spend 300 bucks online gun. but finally there's a model for a low price. the fact it it can shoot 150 is remarkable!. this placement of the cocking bolt is just like on the thompson only better. on the Thompson when you went to cock it your hand blocked the sight but that's not the case here sine the sight is on th carry handle. its a 45 round magazine so unless you rapid fire as fast as you can all the time you won't really need to reload. Though i wish it had a reservoir or some extra mags for sale or something. overall i love it. unique style, high quality, low price. You looking for something different but still really good then this is your gun. buy

    5 out of 5- Famas

When I ordered this gun I was paranoid it was going to suck. A cheaper model that looks exactly like this in every way had been released at the same time, this cheap version was really awful and shot only 225 with .2s so I had my worries. To my fortunate luck, I received a very good gun. This famas is pretty solid, it has some weak points in structure. Some of these points are the barrel, the carrying handle, and the back buttplate(when removed). It came with a cheap little sling, which is of no concern of my interest in using. It also came with a loading tool, which actually works very well, it has a cap to block bbs from falling out. This gun along with many other springs, has good accuracy, good range, and has good speed. The fps is definitely around 250-270 range, which is good. The lowest id go for a spring as about 240 so this gun meets expectations. Overall the range is about 100 feet max with an accurate range at about 65-70 feet. The mag is pretty hefty which is nice, and does indeed hold 45 rounds. There are some misfeeding problems on the first cock, it double feeds. This is only on the first cock and no big deal. My gun sounded like it was broken, I could hear something moving inside. I had a feeling it was a bb, but I took the gun apart and it was glue holding in weights. So dont be suprised if you hear an annoying click of plastic. This gun is well worth the 40 dollars, so if you like the looks, youll be surpised with the performance.

    Overall Specs.
Range - Good, 100 feet total, 70 accurate.
Quality - Its decent, some parts are stronger than others but its well made.
    Speed - around 250-270fps or about 170mph.
Metal Parts - Looking kind of slim on metal, but the most important metal part is the guide rod for the cocking handle, this is truly amazing that spring guns are finally getting some metal there, its definitely the easiest thing to break and i was suprised when i saw that.
Plastic Parts - Mostly composed of high quality plastic, sturdy and has about 2.5-3.5 pounds to the gun, the barrel that is screwed on, doesnt have an inner barrel so if that breaks its no big deal(it feels like it will snap)
Value - For 40 dollars, this gun is well rounded, and is definitely a good choice, if you like the looks, youll be glad by the performance.

4 out of 5- very good

this is a very good gun for the price i mean very good the only reason i gave this a 4 is because at abotu 90-100 feet it curves less, it dosent seem like much but when you aim right at them shoot and give away your position and the bb goes right at them you think oh yea perfect shot and you run out then you notice you missed him by a foot trust me it makes a big deal. heres the pros and cons

    Pros:
    shoots far
    fast
    and hard
    accurate for 100 ft

    cons:
    curves at the last min.
clip wont load the last 2 (but with 45 bbs its not the big of deal)

trust me big time i got this gun u want it but keep the barrel lubed and it might shoot straight its good for 54 bucks (with shipping) you really need this gun its good u better buy it

4 out of 5- Best Rifle Under $40

    Personal Experience:
FAMAS SV Softair Spring Rifle is one of the best budget spring rifles on the market. When I purchased my FAMAS SV Softair Spring Rifle my brother also purchased one. I make this comment because you are going to not want to be very rough with the FAMAS SV. My brother mistreated his rifle and ended up damaging the internals of the rifle. This was probably due to the fact that an overwhelming majority of the FAMAS SV is made of ABS plastic. After my brotherís gun failed he allowed me to completely strip it (or so it turned into after I realized that it could not be fixed). I was surprised to see how all the internals of the FAMAS SV were arrange. It is nicely assembled but still suffers from a lack of metal in its construction. Also, there is a lot of (all I can describe it as) hot glue inside of the gun. I found this a little odd but then again I donít strip all of my guns. You will also find a lot of metal weights. All of this will soon mean nothing to you when you first fire the FAMAS SV. After you get used to the FAMAS SV you will realize that it has a very easy cock the gun using it centrally located cocking bolt. ShortyUSA description is very correct. This gun is perfect for both left and right handed shooters. During inside battles itís nice to be able to switch hands with your rifle depending on what side the corner you are rounding is on. I love my FAMAS SV and I would recommend it to anyone.

    Performance:
Again, ShortyUSA has this area down (give or take a few FPS). I prefer to use the iron sights on the FAMAS SV. From 50-80 feet all you have to do it put the tip of the foresight on the target and fire with great accuracy. I can take out a small film canister (my favorite type of target) from 80 feet away. With the rapid fire abilities of this gun thatís a lot of effective shots locating themselves on your target very quickly. I always use .2g if you use .12g you will have no accuracy because all your shots will shot straight up. The 45 round clip is excellent and is easy to load. However, you will always have 2 shots that donít load. Overall, I would recommend this rifle to anyone with a steady and swift hand who loves to shot in their backyard or in the field of battle.

5 out of 5- cant go wrong with cybergun

anything you buy from cybergun kicks. i had the micro Uzi v.2 and the only reason it broke is it was winter out (hence don't play in the snow) and my friend (you know who you are) tried slam firing and the cocking slide broke right off!!! I dont know what the hell abs plastic stands for but it is very, very very high quality. and this beast is so friggin accurate . I used ksc2 g and intercepted a human sized target over at least 150ft !!! and the guy who had the other review of this gun that P.O.S is not even close to the quality of this fire arm.. So if you want a unique rifle buy this one from shorty USA because these guys need to feed themselves JK.

    sincerely,
    Mr. Snipes

4 out of 5- Beginner special

This is like my teams gun! (cause the owner uses an M4) When we have an extra player we just let him use this gun. It looks kinda futuristic if u unscrew the tip. This guns hopup is good so you can shoot longer distances. It shoots hard but doesn't hurt unless u get shot in certain areas. Trust me, my friend(the owner) unloaded a clip on me while I had on a t shirt from 17 feet away! The clip holds enough ammo for a round but if u run out ur dead cause u have to use a loading tool. All in all this gun is good for long and short distances and support. U should add this gun to ur arsenal today! Thankx Shorty!

    5 out of 5- Cool.

Wow, this is pretty sweet looking spring rifle.
The best thing I can see about it is the amazing fps rating it has with .2 BBs.
And the fact that it can go up to 150 feet!!!
That's about the same as one of the more expensive spring rifles but at half the cost.
I can't wait to get my hands on one of these puppies.

    5 out of 5- 150ft....nice

I have an ultra grade dpms panther arms m16 and its range is only 110ft. i can only imagine what you could do with a gun that has both range and a fast rof (rate of fire for all of you who don't already know.) and for $40, well thats pretty cool, the only thing holding me back is the fact that i want an m324, and i don't exactly like this guns design. the weaver mounts are a nice touch though. i personally think that they should have angled the carry handle into the barrel (like the halo 2 battle rifle)that would make it look a lot less like a box.

ps.Is it me or does that little curvey thing to the left of the mag look a little funky? i know its purpose is to make finding the mag hole easier when under fire or quick reloads, but still, it looks strange.
