This vest has quickly become a favorite among Shorty USA employees. It is lightweight, rugged, extremely low profile and tight fitting giving you great agility in tight quarters. If you are the type that likes to move fast, dive through small openings and tumble around like you are in a John Woo film, this is the vest for you. It is so comfortable and well balance that you can forget you even have it on. Length is adjustable in the shoulders and girth can be adjusted with the side draw strings. The interior of the vest is lined with quilted nylon which takes the edge off those hard impact landings.

External:

1 cross draw pistol holster with thumb break. Fits most large to medium frame handguns including MK23 and Deset Eagle .50AE.
2 vertical rifle magazine pouches with velcro and quick release snap. Each pouch will hold 2 M16 sized magazines.
1 vertical utility pouch with velcro and quick release snap. 4 shotgun shell loops on outside of pouch can also hold CO2 cartridges.
2 horizontal pistol magazine pouches with velcro and quick release snap.
1 radio pouch
1 UTG speed loader pouch
1 flashlight pouch
1 large 5X8" zipper closing utility pouch located on the back

5 out of 5- Excellent

This vest is amazing! In case anyone was wondering (like I was), this is the same vest used in the Hi-capa 4.3 video. You can pretty much get a good look at the vest in action (If one can call those little..chomping things..as action). Anyways I love this vest. It's got a little bit of insulation to it so it's fine to use in cold or hot weather. This vest is easily adjustable and will fit very tight if properly handled. I love how this vest isn't like a swiss army knife in the sense of it being completely covered in pouches you probably won't even need. It limits things down to the essentials (with a few little extra features). All in all, this is a light, cheap, tight-fitting vest that I love to use in woodland areas. You won't have to worry about snagging loose hanging bags on branches or in bushes. By limiting pouches, it also decreases the overall weight so long games or prolonged use won't take a huge toll on you.

Overall, it's a light and effective vest that's perfect for tight quarters or for people who like to move silently.

4 out of 5- Great vest

i purchased one of these off of a different website but it is the exact same vest. the vest has plenty of space for pistol mags and speed loaders. my only complaint about this vest is that you can only fit one AK mag in each pouch, limiting your shooting time depending on the mags that you carry. the vest is light weight and allows for easy mobility. i think that the holster should have been placed a little more towards the center so it is easier to access. as far as the tall "flashlight pouch" goes, i would say that it is more of a SMG (sub machine gun for you newbies) mag pouch. it is the perfect size for an MP5 mag. unless you have a really tall and thin flashlight. and if you do have a huge flashlight i would say buy a surefire flashlight instead. those things produce more light in such a compact size than a whole full size mag-lite. and the surefire will fit in the speed loader pouch. on mine the radio pouch is more or less meant for small walkie-talkie type radios, but it is a useful pouch. the zippered back pouch is handy for carrying a map, bag of bbs, food, water bottle, etc. now another handy feature is the fact that it can adjust to fit over large articles of clothing, so if you are playing in the winter you can make it bigger to fit over a large coat. and you can expand it so in the summer, you can fit a camelbak (yes that is how its spelled) underneath.

Pros:
lightweight
plenty of pouches
durable material
black (goes with every kind of camo)
adjustable
cheap

Cons:
needs wider mag pouches to accommodate AK magazines
holster is a little too far to the left, a little hard to access

Overall i would recommend this vest to anyone who is looking for a lightweight and durable vest.

5 out of 5- cool

this is a awesome vest the price is less than the other vests and yet it gives ut the same great quality utg provides one of my favorite things is that it gives you a smaller silloette in night fights and it is so much less bulky than the hevey duty vests. dont go to a surplus store they just cost 5 times more but they arnt made by utg if you want a vest that you dont want to only have 10 magizine puochs. it is soo much better just to get what you need than having your smaller stuff rattling in magizine pouchs giving your postion away(i've got lots of people in nighfights when i heard there equiptment rattling around dont think its bogus becase it will come back and shoot you.

pros
made by utg
can fit anything you truly need for one battle
price
cheapest vest
will save you in battle

cons
none

5 out of 5- AWSOME!!!!

has good protection
not heavy
has pokets for everything you need without having 10 extra unneeded lbs. of pockets your not even gonna use

this is how i would use them

pistol for pistol hostler (duh)
2 magazines for magazine pouches (another duh)
i would try to shove some spare batteries in the utility pouch and have co2 shotgun pellets or whatever fit for the 4 small holsters on it
pistol magazines for pistol magazine pouch (a third duh)
radio for radio pouch (4)
speed loader for speed loader pouch [its duh's 5th aniversery (lol)]
flash light for flash light pouch (uhhh . . . . duh the 6th :P)
i would put a bag of extra bbs for reloading on long games.

(if you want to bring a lunch i would suggest buying a big pouch because it wont fit in this thing)

4 out of 5- good, but...

this vest is everything that it claims. its tight fitting, light, and quite. unfortunatly, there were some things about the vest that could have been better. first, the pistol holster is not designed well. the strap that keeps the pistol in sits right across the back of the pistol, which puts strain on the hammer, which is bad. also, if you do have a pistol, or anyhting else that will add weight, then the vest will bounce around like crazy, making noise and just getting in the way. this problem could have been solved easily by belt loops to secure it, and i find it really dumb that it was overlooked

3 out of 5- not enough pockets

i have a lot of high caps for my mp5 TM and this will only hld 6 tightly and i own 8 200 rd mags. i do however love the shell loops because i have a shell double barrel shotgun and i have a CO2 desert eagle. i just think it could have more pockets, but i love over stuffing my cargos :]

2 out of 5- no

this doesnt hold alot at all. the UTG Delta Elite Cross Draw Vest's hold more than twice this vest does, for the same price!! its rediculous. i reccomend the UTG Delta Elite Cross Draw Vest Marine Digital Camo. that is 40 bucks and is much better than this, because digital camo is scientifically proven to get your enemies aim all messed up. i only gave it a 2 because it is on sale right now ( february 3rd, 2007) for 30 bucks. dont buy it. please
