A recent addition to our spring pistol arsenal comes this rather customized looking 1911 from TSD. On the surface it has a pretty flashy appearance and some cool features but after testing this tricked out pistol we found that it backed up its looks with some wicked performance.

Capable of punching a .2g BB out of the muzzle at 220 feet per second, the TSD M1911 Tactical registers at the upper end of the spring pistol power scale and will send a soda can toppling. However, things really start to get interesting when you look at the pistols breech and notice that it is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system. This very unique feature enables this pistol to fire a range of BBs weighing from .2g all the way up to a .28g with deadly accuracy.

The slide on the TSD M1911 has such a nice gun metal finish that you might tap on it before you realize that it is actually not metal. The pistol does have a good selection of metal parts which include the barrel bushing, trigger, magazine release, thumb safety, rear sight and mainspring housing. Its overall weight comes in at a nice 1.25 lbs and it feels as solid as a rock. It features a fully adjustable rear sight and a railed frame for adding a laser sight or flashlight.

5 out of 5- Supra Awsome (whole new level of awesome)

If i could I would have chosen a 6 or 7 out of the 5 because this gun is amazingly awesome to the max! It shoots perfectly straight across 2 backyards. It's a bit off track just a tad bit just right out of the box with .20 gram high polished bb's, it's grip is like no other (similar to a females body curves), it's weight is pretty good and is not too light or heavy, the magazine is real heavy so gravity is going to be pulling that clip down fast at an acceleration of negative 9.81 meters per second squared (yeah i'm in Pre-Advanced Placement Physics) so make sure you are able to catch it before it hits the ground.

Reloading the magazine might be a little tricky at first but you will get used to it because there is a button at the bottom back of the clip that releases the spring when it is pulled all the way down. Try not to release the clip from the gun with bb's still in it because it has a habit of letting 1 slip out and it WILL do that so make sure to shake the gun (I suggest doing a couple of jumping-jacks) to get the the bb out so the second clip won't get stuck when you trying to reload.

This gun is also great because it has an adjustable hop-up system AND adjustable rear sights. The list up there may say there is no open port but there is just a small opening that allows you to see the bb being chambered. The safety feature does not only keep it from firing but it also locks the slide from moving back. The slide itself is pretty smooth. Oh and also the trigger is a little loose when you start to pull it but then it gets hard and requires a good pull.

Other than nothing being completely wrong with this gun, I suggest that you buy this weapon of mass destruction! Ahhhhh hahahaha (I hear the navy sniper used this gun to blow a hole through Bin Ladin's head!!!) Good Hunting

5 out of 5- Great Gun!

This gun is a very nice gun for anyone who just wants a nice, solid pistol that is accurate ad has a nice fps. I LOVE the fact that the gun is all metal, because if you are in a war and you drop it a couple times, the gun will function perfectly. My gun has survived a 15 foot fall of of my deck.It is easy to load and the gun is over-all a amazing weapon, and probably one of my favorites at Shorty`s! You need this Gun!!!

5 out of 5- Nice Heavy Gun

I have this gun but I didn't check around a lot before I bought it and I got it from another site, I paid almost $40.00 for it so this is a great deal.
I am 53 years old with a some time on my hands so I thought I would take up target shooting and I looked around for about 2 hours and Bought this gun and a .357 6" Python Grip revolver, but I will leave it out of this review.
THIS GUN is a very nice piece of work, its the heaviest spring handgun I seen so far and now that I've have some time to really look into it, I must say its the best gun for the money. I have a "REAL" M1911A1 and this is about as close to the weight as you will find. I found also that its got some kick to it too, I think more than it is stated, and this one don't say it has a "HOP-UP" kit with it but mine does BUT I have not done anything to mine (yet) and I can hit a nickel at 30 feet consistently and even though I'm a "beginner" at this Airsoft stuff that's as good as what I can do with my real 1911 (Colt). I have not messed with the other gun that much because I have spent time tuning this one in. I dialed in the adjustable rear site and spent 3 days putting "rounds" thru it NOTE: must use seamless pellets, that was my only snag, but after that its been great, I know I have put at least 10.000 rounds thru it and I not noticed any lag, lack of power or any kind of difference at all. NOW, it looks and (almost) feels like a real gun (which is what I wanted) but the silver paint just sux to me, that is the only thing I would (and will) change. YES I will be buying more guns because I am hooked now, but I am going to choose a bit more carefully. I really like this one so I'm going to get one from these guys, I can tell that this company TSD really gives a crap about what they put out, its a solid gun, its not loose and the seams are all matched, I was surprised as hell because of how much I cost, if they put this kind of effort into the lower priced guns I look forward to getting a better gun, I think I want a sniper rifle now. Yall have fun now!!
