2 out of 5- Great gun with serious flaws

So I purchased this a little over 2 weeks ago and while it performs great and is a blast to shoot, mine came with some issues.

I had bought two spare mags to go with the gun, and I'm glad I did. The magazine that came with the gun appears defective. The point that breaks the seal of the CO2 cartridge was not shaped correctly it seems. Whenever I place a CO2 cartridge in the mag, the part of the CO2 seal gets clogged in the needle blocking most of the CO2 from entering the magazine and the gun does not fully cycle. The tips of the needles on the two spare mags have a shape to them (like an ice-cream cone cut in half vertically) clearly designed to prevent clogs. Both times I've tried this mag I've had to take out (thus discharging) a still mostly full CO2 cartridge, and with my pocket knife scrape off the part of the seal that had clogged the tip.

The second issue with my Five-seveN were the adjustable sights. The screw holding the sights in place had the threads completely stripped on two sides and the internal threading was too thin. I was surprised the first time shooting when my sights literally flew off the gun. At first I thought it wasn't tightened initially and after locating the sight, the screw, and the spring, I reassembled the sights not thinking too much about it. The second time I was shooting it, (2 days ago) I got about 30-40 bb's in and the sights flew away again... I couldn't find the spring and at this point I'm probably just going to glue the things on.

Another note about the sights: one thing I noticed with mine was that the spring was too tight to adjust to the left. The most it would compress was to get the sights lined up in the center most position (another likely cause for the sights going airborne).

I've watched and read a lot of reviews online and most were extremely positive so I'm hoping I just got the special snowflake in the bunch.

Other than that I'm still loving this gun. After I zero in the sights I'm just going to glue them down. I'd be cautious buying it, but if you love the Five-seveN / want something to match your p90, I'd consider adding an additional mag and inspecting the sights before shooting.
