ECHO 1 A.S.C. Full Metal AEG Airsoft Rifle Black - One of Echo 1's best submissions to date

Reviewer: rXb22
Rank: BG
Location: Collingswood, NJ
read all my reviews

Bought this gun back in April, and the gun still performs flawlessly. I have had no internal issues with the rifle whatsoever.

PROS:

-Sturdy

-Comfortable to field

-Stock fps out of the box is excellent

-Reliable

-Is compatible with virtually every type of M series mag

- RIS system is set up perfectly

-Zero barrel wobble (but why would there be? Hah)

-Trigger response is outstanding ( No seizing up on semi-auto or full-auto at all)

Cons: All the cons I could pick out were strictly cosmetic:

- Stock is plastic, be careful, if you drop your A.S.C. on a hard surface, the stock can crack. (This happened to me during a game awhile ago. Although airsoftGI.com does carry a replacement stock for $50 USD)

-Battery compartment is not very adaptable for a full-stock rifle. (I could not fit anything but a small-type 1100 MAH battery in there). A solution to this is to strap a battery bag onto the stock and wire the battery connector out of the cheek-rest to the battery bag, and then use a small female to large male connector and use a large type battery instead. This will increase your Rate of Fire and extend your battery-life drastically.

*Had this been a high-end AEG, I would have given it a rating of "4" for the cosmetic issues I found, but for a Mid-Range AEG for an affordable price, I think Echo 1 did a bang-up job with this rifle. Giving it a rating of "5" for reliability and great out of the box performance. Keep it up Echo 1!
All of my friends were very impressed. With this scope you can see everything clearly from anywhere. I used the Weaver Full Size 1 inch tube Scope Mount to mount the scope to my rifle. It is a very long scope with the sun shade on and it looks very cool. The adjustable magnification is great and the illumination is a handy feature. There are virtually no cons to this scope!

UTG M14 Spec Ops AEG Airsoft Rifle Wood - well, for the price this gun is amazing

Reviewer: whocouldibe
Rank: PVT
Location: Lander, WY
read all my reviews

... OK well

pros:
Very accurate
OK rate of fire
durable (i have dropped it on concrete twice - only a small crack in the stock).
has a rail mount for a red dot sight or i guess a scope if you want.
Something that makes it unique from most AEG's is that it is as accurate on full auto as on semi.
commonly draws blood.

OK now for cons
When the rail mount is attached, it blocks the iron sights.
There is a large delay from the trigger pull to the firing (large as in .5 sec)
The charger it comes with over charges the battery (although The chargers that come with guns usually aren't amazing.
The rate of fire is about 8-15 rps which is OK but but amazing.

Over all this gun really gets the job done. It does use up the battery quick because the battery included in not a hi cap.

If you don't want to spend 300 or so $ but still want a well build durable AEG with good specs, get this gun.

One more pro that i forgot to mention is that the hop-up works good so the gun has a great range.
It's good to have for covering fire if you are in a war. Btw, if the box neglects to tell where the hop-up adjuster is, it is a small wheel in the mag well.

Thanks for reading =D

UTG Weaver RAIL Bi-Pod - Good bi-pod with a few quirks

It's got a really solid design to it, nearly full metal. The only problem I had with it is the fact that the knobs on the side of the legs that you pull down to swing the legs down are screwed in. So every time you pull down on 'em to let the legs down or up, it loosens the knob just a little bit; not a problem if you take the time to tighten the screws every once in a while. But if you're like me and don't notice that your knobs are loose until it's too late, you can lose the knobs, hence, rendering the bi-pod either stuck in a folded position or in a deployed position.

All you have to do is tighten 'em every so often, and they'll serve you well. If you do lose them, you can just slap an every day screw into the hole and it'll work just fine.

The other thing is that the rubber pads on the bottom of the legs are also screwed on, which means they can come loose as well. I almost lost mine in the heat of battle, but noticed it falling off, and at the last second, screwed it back on.

Other than those two things, this is an excellent bi-pod and it'll serve you well. It has zero wobble and features rock-solid metal construction. It's a great buy for the money.

Liked it 'cause it was very small and would be fun to carry around and shoot friends with. Not gonna lie. Actually very impressed with this pistol. Very sturdy for a spring gun. Has yet to break anyway on me, although the magazines it came with had to be slightly modified by burning where the pellets are ejected. Without this two pellets at a time would go in the chamber. Regardless of this slight problem, I find the gun very good.

It has a great capacity which is plenty for at least two games, but it depends on how long your games are of course. Also, I myself really like the look of it; it just looks like a real shotgun mag. It's much better than those twenty rd mags, but those are still okay if you don't mind reloading it that often. All in all, this is a great mag if you have an M87. So if you have one and you don't have this, GET IT. It's totally worth it.
One issue that I did have out of the box is that it was not firing correctly in double action mode and needed to be adjusted. I have the luxury of living extremely close to Shorty USA, so I drove it back over to them the next day and they repaired it on the spot - no questions asked. I took it out on its first game trial just the other day and had absolutely zero issues with the gun working all day long.

Unfortunately I did not get any pistol kills, but it wasn't the gun's fault. I just did not have the opportunity to use it at an effective enough range.

Overall the gun has been great thus far and I'm extremely pleased. It is almost a perfect match of the real gun and even fits into my M9's serpa holster that was issued to me by the Air Force!! BONUS!!!

Overall, it's a great gun. Works great and shoots very accurately.

One thing is, the thread size for the flash hider is 12mm positive thread. I contacted KWA and there won't be a 12mm to 14mm adaptor until next year. So if you want to get a suppressor for this gun, you will have to wait or improvise as we did.

Reviewer: bullseye993
Rank: SSG
Location: SOUTHERN PNES, NC
read all my reviews

*notice i gave a five compared to spring shotguns

This gun is an absolute beast and on other sights have found it for up to 50 dollars. Way to go shorty.

Build - this gun is about as dependent as they come. I have used this gun for about a year now and i have had no technical problems at all except for a slight trigger problem(it gets jammed sometimes). I believe slam firing caused this problem. Not too heavy, but not too light either.

Performance - this gun is very accurate and will fly straight for a long time. This gun could hurt more however; do not think that it doesn't. A hit on skin from medium range it will sting; up close it will hurt bad.

(go to end for final review)

Quick War Story - It was me and Matthew(spring m14) vs. Ross (Mossberg shotgun it's good) and Jacob (AEG mp5 it's beast)Anyway Matthew stood at the end of a dirt road behind a tree and taunted Ross and Jacob "nah-nah-nahnah-nahnah". I was hiding alongside the road in some 1 or 2 feet tall grass (I was laying face own in it). Ross and Jacob walked by and I popped up out of the grass and hit Jacob right in the chest and Ross in the ear. We were playing 3 shot out, and up to this point my shots put Jacob out and Ross at 2. I was also at two. However Ross got Matthew out and then it was me and Ross. We then had an epic gunfight until I sniped him at about 80 feet and we won thanks to me and my m87LA.
I used this in an airsoft war about a month back and it was fairly effective at a CQB distance (about 20 feet). This pistol is reliable, fairly accurate, and has a decent fps (for a spring pistol). The appearance of the gun is nice looking, the silver plastic looks nice and the breech, although it doesn't move when you rack the slide, it is metal and adds a nice look to the gun. Definitely lube this pistol with some type of silicon based lube before you use it(see the video on the airsoft lube page for info if you are unsure of how to lubricate). Over all this gun is a fairly nice pistol and if you are looking in to buy a spring kwc hpa pistol consider this one.

I also have zeroed the hop up with .3g bbs for 250 feet and can consistently hit a soda can at this range. As a comparison i have used much higher end rifles and only seen very minor improvements. This time I had one with the spring stuck down in it, and for the life of me, I can't get it to come back out. Overall, if you can load them once, they should last you for quite a while. For the price I can't complain, I have almost no issues with misfires, and if I loose one, I don't care. So take this review for what it is, an honest one.

not only does it hold a lot but the feeder tube is almost 2 times longer than any standard high cap mag. this means you can shoot for twice as long before having to wind again. which leads me to my next point, this gun winds soooooooooooo fast! it's an electric wind of course, but when you need to wind it all you need to do is press the button for literally a second and the feeder tube is completely full. so if you really wanted to you could shoot the whole 3000 rds (yes it holds 3000, it says 2800 but you can fit more easily) almost without stopping.

in conclusion, if you're looking to turn any ak series weapon into an effective support/master of the volume of fire weapon. get this mag!
This is a High Torque motor which means it is meant to pull a stronger spring so it doesn't increase Rof unless you use a lower spring (m105 or below) which isn't smart since this would give you a slower rof than a high speed motor.(This is aimed at you Bunkermonkey - your friend must have bought the high speed motor which I too have in my JG mp5 Navy Seal zombie killer edition.) I have this in my m16 DMR as project BRAVO Spr because I make $800- $2,500 guns and i decided i wanted to gift myself a nice gun. I bought a E1 m16 A4 Zombie Killer ..., a m150 spring, a 3 shot and semi only locker MOSFET chip, this motor, Titanium gears, a rangefinder 2.5-14.5 illuminated scope, a Olympic arms m16 cqb sniper kit (it's not small though, it can fit a 550mm tightbore) and a 6.02 550 mm tightbore barrel. I bought all this for like $455 and i think it was a steal. The gun now shoots at 602 fps with .2g, 278 fps with .23g, 547 fps with .25g but i use .28 and get about 529 fps and amazing accuracy. ... The only reason that i bought off of here was because we buy guns and make them using kits, we don't have like 20 m16 in stock. This is a great cheap site. Buy this motor.

The magazine has a nice capacity around 20 rounds. The gun looks and feels realistic and the weight is not a problem. I thought that you having to pull back the hammer to put it on safety was very cool. The mag release is in a good location too - right under the trigger guard. Overall the gun is very nice. The range isn't bad nor is the fps, but it would be a bit better if it was a smaller version.
Pros and Cons

Pros:
Fps
Weight
Mag Cap
Safety

Cons:
Size (but the usp model is known for being bigger.)
none other than that.

The holster is great and the bbs work good in the gun. I bought a spare mag also it makes it a bit cooler.
not amazingly gas efficient, but it's fine if you don't need a whole clip to hit someone

PROS----------
sweet fps (don't use anything lighter than .25g bbs)
extremely accurate (effective range is even farther with a tight bore)
rof (not the best, but I have learned that you only need 1 bb to get a kill)
tons of rail space
blends in better than black guns

CONS----------
rof (if you really need a really fast gun for something like cqb)
hop up: cheap plastic (mine broke as I was putting in a tight bore)
comes with crappy fore grip
really front heavy

And, for a lower price, I could get 4 130 rnd mags, holding 520 rnds, for less than two 300 rnd mags. Plus it's more realistic and makes the game fun with more reloads. And if that's not enough, I've got my 300 rnd mag (that it came with), and my 300, and my 120 rnd speed loaders. So to save money, make the game more realistic, help you be more deliberate with your shots, and get rid of those clunky 300 rnd mags that anytime you go above 0.2 miles an hour make more noise than a train. At the price of 80 BB's. I recommend this (unless you're a trigger happy guy. Like my brother.)

My only purpose for this review is to get you all to buy the ICS M4 RIS. First off, I have encountered many ICS M4 types in the last few years and there's one word to describe them: QUALITY.

My ICS M4 RIS is quite realistic as well as solid, and it has many features that I love. The first is the Forward Assist that releases the piston and keeps the spring from losing its power. I have been frustrated before with lesser M4 models that I own when the battery died in the middle of a full automatic burst, and then I had to wait until the battery was charged again in order to reset the spring which led to a shorter spring life. I have never had such problems with my ICS.

The second great feature is the included Turbo 3000 motor. It's one of the best motors I have ever encountered. I own another Turbo 3000 ICS motor that I upgraded my UTG M4 carbine with and it's very responsive.
There has been much debate whether Classic Army internals were more reliable than ICS, and I was horrified when my best friend's Classic Army M15A4's internals stripped and he had to get everything replaced. I have never encountered that problem with my ICS either.

The third great thing about my ICS M4 is the ability to switch out the upper gear box. I own another upper gear box that contains a Mad Bull Carb Piston with reinforced metal teeth as well as a M120 Systema spring and it chronoes at around 400 F.P.S. With the stock internals it fires at about 345 F.P.S and about 16 rounds per second.

Overall this ICS M4 package is perfect. You get two magazines, an ICS ANPEQ2 battery box, included RIS and high quality internals as well as a custom battery pack, a universal charger and the best KSC .25 BBs for less than 400 dollars. On other airsoft competitor sites, the ICS RIS runs at about 350-365 by itself.

Buy this before it runs out. It's the best quality also for the money!

P.S
Classic Army AEG's have gone down in quality and no longer compare to ICS AEGs.
If you've ever had problems with attaching a three point sling to your M4 because you had to place all of the nylon adapters, this is the sling for you. It's quite comfortable and it gets addicting to use in CQB type battles because there isn't extra sling to get in the way of the tight corners. This is a great deal because it comes with the sling adapter which is very easy to install.

1. Remove the retractable stock to reveal the end of the buffer tube.
2. Locate a small hex screw around the end of the buffer tube and remove it.
3. Take a long screwdriver and remove a screw attaching the tube to the lower receiver.
4. Then remove the little metal plate that looks like the included sling adapter.
5. After replacing the buffer tube you'll have to tighten the stock ring towards the sling adapter.

If you have a crane stock, the adapter has two slits in it for the wiring.

It took me about five minutes to install it completely and it's really great.
Hope it helped.

So, about seven of my friends and I put together our cash and went out to Home Depot and got about $200 dollars of all kinds of wood. A huge creek goes around my town and where we usually play, we built up some bunkers, foxholes, mounds, barriers, carved paths, and whatnot for 2 weeks, then finally got to play...

War Story:

Creek- We got the attacking side after deciding teams, and shortly after I was running through an open field to the edge of the woods far east of the main path a few of my teammates took, and was knee high in those plants with the fibers that sting like hell or w/e. After tripping and crawling through some barbed wire and muddy runoff water, I passed up the enemies and went to the far edge of the woods where a big hill was that overlooked every player on their team. I switched to single shot and turned on my red dot scope. I aligned it right on the first players head and... "Snipe!". He got pissed when he couldn't find where I was. I then got a scope on the dude at their main base poking his head out of a foxhole and took him out my first shot. And their last guy was on the move for the main woods and raped him with my second shot (not bad while on the move from around 150 feet).

That's how I took out a whole team with this crazy gun.

Pros:

- Crazy FPS (more like 430)
- Great (realistic) looking
- Pretty much FULL metal
- Awesome RPM for the FPS
- (more like a sniper)
- Makes friends retreat (hehe)
- Good rails
- Love the sights

Cons:

- Rails sometimes get wobbly

12/10 for sure
If you want capacity, then buy a full size mag. I won't bother restating all the information in the description, but they feed flawlessly and are sturdily built to last. No, 130 rounds isn't the best out there, but I believe that the only reason you would be looking at this particular style would be for the historical look or you're looking for a lower profile design for your platform. The few inches you gain with these over a full-size design allows you to really prone out and get your rifle in line with the rest of your body. There's nothing more annoying than trying to make yourself a smaller target and then having to stick your head up to try and take a reasonable shot.....yes you can rotate your gun 90 degrees and shoot sideways...But That's Not The Point! All in all, if you're going for a lower profile, look for a longer range platform (i.e. KWA KM16-SR12 a.k.a. my baby) you can't beat the quality.
Anybody who says that a more expensive m9 is better than this beast must of been shot in the head from point BLANK range one too many times. I have played at my friend's house and not actually played in a CQB game, but I can tell you that anybody who plays in NH better get ready because I will bring the pain with THIS.

It didn't cover up the inner barrel completely, but luckily I bought a tightbore the same day that was just a hair shorter and fit in there. This isn't JBU's fault.

First off, this is very rock solid. It's a very hard and tough metal that doesn't bend or even scratch easily. When it's screwed on, there's absolutely no wiggle or play to it. I've had it hit against a rock once when I accidentally swung out my rifle going prone; this didn't even leave a mark on the thing (also props to the durability of the UTG M4). It's also very, very cheap when compared to other full metal silencers. On the downside though, I wish that the markings were on both sides. Outside of that I can't find one other negatives.

This is a definite buy for any one that wants to add some uniqueness to their gun or add a longer inner barrel (make sure you check the lengths).

UHC 1911 Spring Airsoft Pistol Black - Good Gun for the Money.

I think I know what there is to know about it. I bought this gun with:

-2 mags
-Gun Lube
-.20 BB's for springers

(Appearance)
I think that this is a well built gun for just $20. The appearance is astonishing and looks very realistic (without the orange tip). So if you play outside you may want to leave it on... The slide lock doesn't work but still adds realism, and that’s what it's all about, right? And of course the thumb safety works and it's easy to use.

(Magazine)
As far as the magazines go, they don’t look all that great, although they seem to work great so far. They are a little slow to load but it's ok since the mag cap is 22 (good luck getting in the last 3 or so). I don't think the appearance really matters though because you don’t see any of it. The mags are made of plastic too, but I have dropped them and they still work, but for $7 you’re getting what you paid for.

(Accuracy)
I have to admit that with this gun, the accuracy isn't that great at some distances. It is, however, very consistent so all you have to do it compensate for the drop or rise. It does well up close and from about 40 feet, but in the middle or from farther, it's kind of hard. I like the sights and they are more realistic than other 1911's I've seen. Shorty’s says the range is 100 feet but then again, maybe it's because it is new or something... I think that if you were hit from 100 feet you would feel it though. So overall, good consistency but not very good accuracy.

(Overall)
I have to say that this gun looks great, and is very realistic. Though I think that KWC pistols are a better choice... I guess I haven’t had a good experience in the past with UTG. All in all, you get what you pay for and this pistol is worth the money.
(if it isn't get some!!!). if it is then having at least one will come in handy because it can unload one mag in less than 2 seconds. it is also hardly accurate. it's a spray and pray deal. if you are planning on using the gun as an effective sidearm you might need more than 2 seconds. all in all the gun is good with one mag but at least 2 if not more would be highly recommended, and this is coming from an owner
Pros:
-makes an extremely intimidating gun have practicality
-makes for a more reliable sidearm
They are just as advertised: extremely high quality, with an excellent polished finish. I have only had 1 misfeed in my record of using these bbs, and I doubt it was due to the bbs themselves, more likely an issue with the gun. They move fast and are easily visible, which I count as an advantage because it allows you to reevaluate your aim for the next shot. While in most AEG's i prefer the heavier .23's, for those in which I have found these effective they serve their purpose admirably. For the price you cannot find a better bb; I would dare to say that even at higher prices little if anything can compare. They are fast and reliable, and overall a great deal. I just got it a couple weeks ago and i put it through its paces. It shoots like a champ. I also suggest getting some sort of red dot sight for it. I did and it really makes it easier to snap onto a target quickly. To remove the orange cap, to add the extended barrel, you need to unscrew a small allen wrench screw on the underside. It takes about a 3mm allen wrench. The hair dryer trick mentioned above also works nicely. Overall this is a superb weapon and I recommend it to anyone.

KWC HPA Smith & Wesson M4505 Softair Spring Pistol Black - not impressed

I seem to be the only one who was not impressed with this gun's accuracy. I tried it out with a nearly torso-sized target at 90 feet, and simply could not make the shot. After emptying several magazines, I hit the target only 5 times. I found that the bb curves significantly upward after traveling about 30 feet. Within those thirty feet, the gun is great: absolutely no deviation from the intended path. But after that 30 foot range is reached, the path is unpredictable. The only thing I could bet on is that it would not go where I aimed it. Still, the accuracy is better than that of really low grade handguns, the kind one might buy for half the money. After all, on a day with absolutely no wind, one might feasibly be able to engage a target out to 100 feet with some chance of success (albeit not a high chance). The gun does indeed have its merits when it comes to performance. First of all, the gun is quite powerful. If one is in a pistol fight I would always choose accuracy over power, but for those who decide differently this might be the gun for you. If it is any consolation, the gun's range is insane. At the speed this gun fires, and with the unfortunate upward curve, the bb will stay in the air if fired straight for well over 100 feet, perhaps upward of 150. So while i would say the gun has a low effective range, the range at which the gun can be threatening is quite high. Again, for me this is not a serious consideration when compared to the poor accuracy, but if you have a different opinion then by all means buy this gun. In short, room length engagements out to a maximum of 50 feet, this gun will serve you extremely well. Anything above 50 is a gamble, and anything greater than 100 is worth a prayer. The slide is easy to pull, and the trigger pull is low. Rapid fire is easy. The sights are great. All of these factors, combined with the gun's exceptional power, make it an ideal sidearm for close range engagements.

Design: 4
I think this gun is very well made. The plastic is extremely durable; i have no qualms about the possibility of dropping this gun on concrete, I am certain it would survive the impact with nothing more than a scratch. The checkered grips feel great in the hand. The trigger placement simply feels naturally; one's finger will find the trigger with closed eyes. I like the fact that the hammer can be pulled back. Obviously that serves no real function, but it is a nice extra feature. I think that the gun it is modeled after is a great looking firearm, and this is an excellent replica. The paint is well done and has thus far shown no signs of wear. The only cosmetic issue is that the grip is not the same color as the barrel. The trademarks are sweet and really add to the gun's realism. The magazine is easy to load quickly, and is sloped in such a way that it feeds easily into the magazine well. The only significant design issue that has really bothered me about this gun is that the grip is not really attached to the handle of the gun: if one's fingernail is stuck in between the grip and the handle, I feel as though it might come off. This and the protruding orange tip which is more obvious than that of most other spring pistols are the only issues that detract from the otherwise nearly flawless design of the gun. In all the gun's weight is just right, and durability is to be counted on.

Miscellaneous issues: the first time I tried the gun out I had 2 major problems:

1. The gun would not fire the first time I loaded it. I ended up dry firing 3 times for no apparent reason. I took the magazine out and discovered that there had been a misfeed, and two bbs were stuck in the chamber. I shook the gun and both fell out. I have not had that problem again.

2. The magazine and the release worry me. Aside from the magazine's obviously low capacity, I fear future issues with the magazine. The first time I pressed the magazine release button, it simply did not work. I had to pry the magazine out of the gun and try again. Since then it has worked every time, but my concern remains. The magazine does not appear to lock into the gun very well, and there is some jiggle if one places his finger on the gun.

Overall the gun is powerful but inaccurate, and well made with some rare but significant design issues

ECHO 1 A.S.C. Full Metal AEG Airsoft Rifle Tan - Echo 1 SCAR (Tan) Review

The weapon is full metal, the rails and full upper receiver are all metal. The plastic on this gun is due to the fact that the real SCAR isn't full metal either. It has a plastic lower receiver and stock like the real thing. This also comes with a barrel extension which looks great, 2 mags (mid and high cap), the gray high cap doesn't look good in the gun, but preforms great and also comes with a front vertical grip. This is an upgraded v.2 gearbox and is reinforced. The battery that it comes with is an 8.4v 1100mah battery which has a great ROF on this, about 800 rpm. I recently bought an Intellect 9.6v 1600mah which boosted the ROF to about 950 rpm, while also giving me about 2 extra hours of playing time. The FPS is outstanding also. I chronoed mine at 435 with .2g fps and 410 fps with .25g! The flash hider IS glued on, so if you want to put the extension on, or want a new one, get a glass of boiling water and soak the flash hider in it for about 10 sec and the glue will melt. The blow dryer method will melt the flash hider, so don't do that! The rear sight is adjustable for wind and elevation and is very easy. All you do is turn a knob. The front sight is also removable if you want to put on a RDS like me. They are also both flip up sights. The SCAR is fully ambidextrous with the charging handle (you unscrew it and put it on either side), the mag release and the fire selector switch. The selector switch clicks into place very nicely and it does not move at all when it is locked into place, so no accidental moving of it. The mags can be hard to put in and take out of at first, but they loosen up and it gets easier. It has full trademarks of US SOCOM all over this gun which is very authentic and realistic. The trigger is very light and will not shoot halfway and then not shoot, the semi auto is very fast too, you can pull the trigger as fast as you want and it will still shoot.

SPECS:
ROF - 800: 8.4v 950: 9.6v
FPS - 435: .2g 410: .25g
Inner Barrel Length - 278mm: about 320mm with extension
Inner Barrel Diameter - 6.08mm (GET A TIGHT BORE)
Weight - about 8 pounds

Overall this gun is GREAT! I would highly recommend you buy this for anyone who likes the way the SCAR looks and feels. Very authentic.

PROS:

Great FPS
Great ROF
Full Metal upper receiver and rails
Realistic trademarks and everything that is plastic on the real SCAR is plastic on here
2 Magazines
Grip
Barrel Extension
Flip up sights
M4 Mags will fit
Huge battery space, will fit up to a 10.8v (don't recommend though, will strip gears)
Accurate up to about 150 feet
Ambidextrous selector switch, charging handle and mag release
Easy to upgrade
Stock can be folded, and can be put into 3 positions and an adjustable cheek rest

CONS:

Mags will be hard to put in and take out at first
Get a new battery and charger
Heavy (I like it though, 8 pounds)
Can pinch wires when you fold the stock back in
Pros definitely out weigh the cons, get this now.

Sig Sauer P226 Full Metal Softair Spring Pistol - looks cool... and that's it

Reviewer: 86wagon
Rank: 1LT
Location: north little rock, AR
read all my reviews

to start out with, this gun is made by cybergun under the name swiss arms.

the box:
what i got with my gun was a mag, the gun, and a small bag of bbs (i threw these out 'cause you never can trust the box bbs ;))

The gun:
when i took it out of the box i was surprised at the weight of it, FULL METAL! The mag weighs as much as a loaded 9mm mag! And the gun made a satisfying CHA CHINK when cocked. The thing i don't like about it though is the sights. They are a front post and for the rear it is nothing more than a piece of metal coming out of the slide... useless. The slide, as i was disappointed to find out, was a shell design with screws in it.

Performance:
well i loaded 17 .20gs in the mag, and stuck it in the gun. It sounded AWESOME! i racked the slide and pulled the trigger... nothing, racked it again - a bb comes out the barrel. I can't tell you the performance of the gun 'CAUSE IT WOULDN'T FIRE!!! I found out that something was wrong with the chamber and was too tight, and the piston couldn't push it out. All the air was coming out the back of the gun.

Pros:
full metal
sounds really cool
nice mag

Cons:
IT DOESN'T FIRE!
IT DOESN'T FIRE!
the mag drops randomly without pushing the release.

So if you're looking for a wall hanger, this is your gun. However if you want an airsoft gun that fires, you need to get something else - maybe try one of the thousands of p226 replicas. And stay away from cybergun.
HERE'S MY WAR STORY

I was in the dark, desolate, humid, and thick forest. My spotter and i got under a tree stump, roots surrounding me and my spotter. I took out my mk96 and got into position. I took out my NVG's and saw a machine gun post armed with a m60 and another enemy sniper with a m14 scout with a scope. Unfortunately my mk96 was covered with mud but still worked. I lined up my scope with the sniper and he saw me too. He fired six shots but didn't hit. I lined up the cross hairs with him and fired. He went bye-bye. Then i focused on the machine gunner. Of course with seeing the sniper gone, he started spraying the land. CLINK! He went down. I went up to the post and got face to face with a pistol wielder. He told me surrender or die but i scoped him and he went down. Me and my spotter were the only two people in the 1 hour match to take down a whole entire team.

speed
accuracy
comes with speedloader
comes with sling (decent quality)
comes with 2 mags, not 1

Performance
as far as tactical lights go, this on is insanely bright, brighter than my d cell maglite led! and a whole lot smaller!
this is SO much cheaper than surefire and they don't come with a mounting ring or a pressure switch!
granted it's not as good as a surefire, but on a budget it can't be beat.

pros:
all anodized aluminum!
Very, very bright!
easy to use
a lot of accessories included
awesome looking strike bezel
UTG

cons:
not the greatest batteries

if you're looking for a nice, cheap, bright light for either handheld or firearm use, this is your light!
P.S. this IS a firearms grade weapons light, not just for airsoft guns
They are explosives. An airsoft company actually created an airsoft explosive, which isn't just a shotgun (like some grenade launchers claim to be). These explosives add a whole entire new idea into the game. Explosives. Now, you can plant these behind your base to keep enemies out. Your enemies will now watch their step. With strategy, such as luring, these mines could be used very aggressively. Image a helpless sniper running through the brush as you chase him. Just as your about to get him, he picks up his remote, at this point your eyes start to go wide, he then presses a simple button, and 200 bbs fire at you. Basically, for those who are support units (springers), these are your best friends to slay those sneaky automatics.

This obviously offers that. What I don't like about it though is the fact that -
1) It's confusing to sling some guns (mine)
2) It hurts my neck after a while

Although I wouldn't deduct for it being confusing, the neck pain is intolerable. After a while I just have to take it off, matter of fact, I barely use it.

If you have a gun such as the one demonstrated from the video (preferably light), this is the sling for you. If you're the MVP of your team (the one with the guts leading the charges) with a two to three foot long assault rifle that's full metal, not so much.

Remember: This sling can have none of the cons I listed depending on the gun. But for my arsenal, it just doesn't seem to work.

My metal assault rifles that I own are listed below that I couldn't sling with this,
It's got full metal construction, a red and green dot sight with 5 brightness settings for each color. The paint is also hard to scratch off; I have had for a year, and no paint has come off of it, and it also is just as bright as when I first received it.

Pros:
red and green dot
5 brightness settings for each color
full metal
quality
price
durability
lens covers
cleaning cloth
battery included

Cons:
eats up batteries pretty quickly, but that's to expect from most red dot sights

ECHO 1 E90 E.T.W. AEG Airsoft Gun
Full Metal Receiver - pretty good

First off, I've had it for almost a year now. It's a great remake of the real p90 (my favorite gun) which I've known about since GRAW so I was glad when i saw this.

Pros:
Realistic looks (even the mag looks "realistic")
Pretty good accuracy (i can easily hit a target within 120-150ft no worries)
Decent mag cap for the 68 depending on semi or full but you can just get 300 or 1500 box mag
Great with the Spec ops reflex sight
Has not jammed on me yet (downward feed)
Pretty good battery life
(the safety actually works unlike one of my pistols i broke not realizing i had it on safety)

Cons:
Not the greatest fps (still can hurt a bit close range)
Absolutely despise the look of the orange flash hider that comes with it(ruins the look) but you can get a new one cheap($7 bucks cheaper if you're unregistered and reading this and plan on buying a new flash hider for it)

All in all this is a great that i would recommend to anybody(so would my friend who just got it a couple months ago.) Also, I honestly never had a problem with the way the grip is - i think it depends on the user.

it is surprisingly accurate, has an overall nice feel to it, extremely high metal content (it's quite heavy for an air soft), works well at any range, even 200 plus feet with the proper bb's, and it just looks absolutely sweet.

the rate of fire, in my opinion, is plenty for mid to long range in full auto mode. it is a bit slow if you're in a strictly close quarters area though. this is because of the heavy spring inside the gun, resulting in a very satisfying fps.

also, this works equally well in a mid range assault role as it does in a sniper role.

its accuracy is comparable to my MK 96 shadow ops, with the appropriate bb's mind you, but without a scope and with FULL AUTO!!!

overall, just an excellent gun! if you want a good mid to long range primary, but are tired of the countless AK's, M4's and MP5's out there, this is for you!!

Sure the m1a1 hi-cap stick magazine works fine (if you don't mind turning a little clicker wheel for about 30 seconds) and, for the most part, won't jam on you.

This mag is a bit more prone to jamming with the lower quality bb's. however, you can wind the drum mag A LOT quicker, it's way quieter to wind, it holds more bb's in both the main chamber (obviously) and the spring loaded chamber, and you can pour in more bb's without even removing the magazine from the gun!!!

The only bad thing is it's a little bulky. but with 450 rounds, on an accurate machine like the thompson, you can OWN pretty much any battle at any range in any style you choose.

the tommy gun RULES
